The fan fit the area perfectly for our bathroom remodel. I wish I could have gotten more cfm in the space though.

Great fan. Very quit and powerful.

Terrific until this morning when the ultra quiet unit started rattling like the fan was coming apart. We have had the fan for 15 days.

I did a retrofit of an existing fan unit that was 20 years old. Our Master Bathroom is in the middle of our home (no windows) so it would get very steamy (with the original fan). My wife always complained that the walls were sticky and hard to clean. Pulling the old unit out (without destroying the ceiling) was a bit tricky, but was accomplished. I decided to mount the unit directly to a beam, (which required opening the ceiling a little more), which turned out to be fairly easy. The existing duct is 4 inches so I had to get a reducer (6 to 4 inches). Electrical hook up was not bad either (though the diagram in the instructions is not that helpful luckily I have a couple of EE degrees). The existing unit used two switches (one to control the fan the other for the light). I hooked it up so one switch controls the night light and the other the main light and fan together. One of the CFL bulbs that came with the unit was DOA, so I upgraded to LEDs. Also, it was annoying that for $206 they didn't throw in a 4 watt night light bulb. As for results, the fog situation is much improved, but not totally fixed. I'm going to get the bottom of the door shaved down a 1/4 inches to improve air flow with the door closed. All in all it was worth it and my wife LOVES the night light feature. I'll probably put one in the guest bath, which has a similar issue.

The wiring drawings need more detail for the do ir yourself homeowner.

The clips to hold cover on are flimsy.

The unit mounted and was easy to connect electrically, but the plastic housing support (secondary assembly) was not mounted correctly so I needed to trim it back so the squirrel cage fan didn’t hit it causing noise.

I bought two, and they replaced the original fans that were not doing much other than making noise in my 13 year old home. I couldn't be happy with this fan, it is quiet and works so well the mirror no longer fogs up! I love that my bathrooms no longer have that damp feel, and the extra light in the bathroom is a bonus! One note, while the results are well worth it- in addition to the planned expense of installation by an electrician, I did need to have new 6 inch venting installed by heating/cooling professionals which is something I did not realize at the time of purchase.

We had this fan professionally installed 6 months ago. Now it's terribly loud. Not sure what part is bad but were going to have to replace it.

This fan is a great upgrade over the builder grade bath fan. The installation was easy and the fog, mold and rust are a thing of the past.

We bought this fan to replace the original bath fan that was installed 18 years ago. The old one still worked, but just wasnt capable of removing the moisture when anyone took a shower. Moisture on the walls, the mirror, everywhere. NOT ANYMORE!! This fan can handle the hottest of showers and its as quiet as a mouse. Sometime have to check to see that its running!! We picked the right fan for the job!!

I purchased this fan for a bathroom in a 100 year old house that had little ventalation in the bathroom. Prior to installing the fan there was a problem with mosture and steam buildup after showering. With the fan installed the moisture and steam problem was solved. Great product, easy installation and works great. For the amount of air being moves the fan is very quite. I would recommend fan and would purchase it again if I should ever need to install another in another bathroom.
