When manufacturing our pre-finished flooring, we strive to use the best and "cleanest" pieces when packing the flooring into cartons. Any pieces that do not qualify into a warranted category are put into an off-good grade, and these goods are typically sold "as is". Beautiful hardwood floors are a product of nature and therefore, not perfect. Our wood floors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit grading deficiencies. These grading deficiencies may be of a manufacturing or natural type.

If you feel this is a manufacturing issue, you may go back to the flooring retailer where the material was purchased. A sales associate will be happy to assist with having the product inspected and file a potential claim on your behalf.
