Beautiful door, it included ball catches (installed) and strike plates. Solid and easy to install.

Easy to hang. Took stain well after sanding. Looks great functions great too.

I bought 2 of these doors. Doors looked great untill applying priner. The veneer bubbled in multiple spots on the door. Im very dissappointed. I have a ton of time on these doors.

I bought 2 of thess doors. I inspected them at the store for defects. Nothing major. Once we started priming the doors, the door had a huge bubble in it. Highly dissapointed with this product. Huge bubbles started apearing in the jamb also. Now I have to uninstall 2 french doors and haul them back to HD. Not to mention the time, primer, and trim thats going to be wasted. I guess i should of checked here first. There are numerous people complaining about the same issue. I will also be talking with my HD to see why this product is still being offered. This was my first Jeld-wen product.. ;(

THIS DOOR TOOK SO LONG TO ARRIVE! ( IT TOOK 1 MONTH) WHEN IT FINALLY DID, IT TURNS OUT THE DOOR SHUTS IN A SLANTED WAY, LEAVING A GAP IN BETWEEN.... WE HAVE BEEN RUSHING TO HAVE A PROJECT COMPLETE AND BEAUTIFUL TO MEET A DEADLINE, WE'VE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THE FINAL PIECE, WHICH WAS THIS DOOR, JUST SO WE CAN HAVE A CROOKED DOOR. THERE'S A GAP IN BETWEEN THE DOORS, AND AT THE BOTTOM IT IS EVEN MORE NOTICEABLE. THAT WASN'T AN INSTALLATION ISSUE...SINCE THIS IS A PRE-HUNG DOOR, THIS IS A FACTORY PROBLEM. I EXPECT HOME DEPOT TO FIX THIS ISSUE.

Love the doors, easy to hang but would strongly recommend the following. At the top of the door is a spring loaded ball that keeps the door shut after installation, they provide you with the female receptacle that you have to install after the door is up that requires you to chisel out or rout out the area for that plate to be installed. I would strongly recommend and have no idea why this cannot be done at the manufacturer as it can only be in one place if the door is installed correctly. It is really a pain to do after the door is in place...

This door is excellent. Solid core. It has ball bearings at the top for an easy open and close system. High quality. Highly recommended. See photos. Comes with plastic over the glass sections for easy painting and then removal.

poorly packaged, and nails or screws placed speraticly in the door. door had a hard twist in the caseing, which made it very difficult to install, but by the issues I had getting it, I choose to do my best to work with it. the shipping left me with no time to meet schedule. there were splinters which was nice digging out of my hand, from some onenailing and renailing a area and split the wood

My husband and I installed this door in about 2 hours. Very heavy, but it is solid wood and great quality. We used it for a hallway coat closet. Painted it black to match our other doors!

When i painted the door it got swollen, big bobbles al over Really unaceptable, i paid someone to do the work and this issue comes when all the work is done so i cant take it and return/exchange it I wonder if i can get a credit fot it?

The doors were exactly as needed to remodel the front of our new closet. Still have to add the hardware but otherwise they look amazing!

Veneer on the frame and door bubbled up...I would return this thing back to Home Depot if it wasn't a huge hassle to take everything back down and send it back. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.

The frame around the door is super cheap and flimsy. Once you put it in, it is decent, but the process you have to go through to get it level and get the middle space between the doors just right almost made it not worth it. The plastic over the windows was amazing and pretty easy to peel off. When I picked up the door they put like 20 staples in each side of the frame to hold the cardboard label down which was also a pain. Overall I think it is going to be a great door and it looks good, just a pain to get installed.

The doors are of decent quality. However, the door frame is not. It warped severely after removing the shipping packaging and was not aligned properly to the top of the doors. Ultimately, it would have been faster to build a frame from scratch and fit the doors to it. I loved the glass film, made painting a breeze. Just cut around the glass with a razor, peel and enjoy.

I got this door to bring more light into a room and make it attractive. Installation took a lot of time and patience. The door was difficult to make square.. but with patience it was fine. After reading other reviews, i followed some advice. i painted one side and stained the other.. and they both turned out great. but you must sand the wood before you do either... the paint and stain will bubble if u don't. also i did i primer coat before painting. the plastic protection on the class from manufacturer was a wonderful time saver... the door looks great and i love it.

I needed to build French doors for a non-standard, arched 42" doorway in an old house. Estimates for custom doors ran from 5000 to 6000 $, way beyond my budget. The doors are from JELD-WEN, made in South Africa, the wood seemed mostly dry. The veneer is rather thin but the insides were solid and not too irregular. Big plus for me was the wide wooden border around the lites. I was easily able to rip the panels to the desired width. For my arches I simply flipped the doors upside down so I had enough material around the lites. Kickboard size is still sufficient. The lites are covered in plastic which makes it really convenient to paint, and final cleanup is a breeze. I mounted the doors on double action spring hinges, using two 4" hinges on each door (door weight ended up around 35 lbs per panel, so not an issue). Required a fair amount of re-mortising, obviously.

I had the door installed by a contractor who did a very good job. It was easy to install and took little adjustments to the fit the door into the opening. Love the way it makes the room look like a model home. It looks good even unpainted. I plan to paint it white this weekend.

the doors are great quality and were easy to install in a custom size area....

I installed a 5 ft set of these in my first house. We just moved this year and it was again the first project in the new house. 4ft version this time. Easy to install and the quality of the doors is great. The hardware for the door latches could be better if it was adjustable but not a huge deal. We painted this set white this time as we had stained them at the first house.

These are for a infrequently used hall closet. They look great, but wouldn't have them for high traffic use. The doors don't seem like they would take too much handling. Installation was not difficult. As I said these are perfect for intended use. Very happy with outcome.

We had these doors installed to our master bathroom. The only flaw is that the doors are too close together so closing them is awkward

it was easy to install these doors. well made and loved that the window panes were covered with plastic for easy painting and easy removal with a straight edge. So happy with product

I would recommend this door to anyone who enjoys the leisure of painting and/or staining! The windows have a plastic coating which allows you to paint and stain worry free of scraping paint off the glass. I painted one side of the doors white and stained the opposing side. Looks great on both sides. An attractive focal point in both rooms.

The doors a very poor quality. I would give a zero if it was possible. Every pane of glass that was in the doors had been installed from the factory wrapped in plastic. I had to cut along the edge of every piece of glass on both sides of the door with a razor knife to remove it. It took an hour and a half to remove all the plastic with out damaging the wood. After the plastic was remove it left a void between the wood and glass and when the doors shut the glass rattles. Also the screws that are used in the hinges are very short. They were stripped out in the wood and I had to replace with longer screws. Hmmmmm. An interesting experience for a brand new product. I have worked in both residential and commercial construction for 20 years and I have never seen anything like it.
