This door is OK, not great. The pine in the doors didn't match the pine in the frame, but dark stain mostly covers that up. It wouldn't be a problem if painted. The framing around the lites needed sanding, but then look very nice. The oddest thing was that the door jambs mounted on the frame sides didn't line up with the jamb mounted on the frame at the top. A solvable problem, but puzzling.

These are really nice doors that fit our needs exactly (leave lots of light in from the sun room). They’re not inexpensive, but the build quality is very good, and the pine takes up stain quite nicely. If they fit within your budget they are nice French doors.

The door is good choice for the price. There was some air bubbles that appeared under the wood as it was being primed and painted. I had to cut out, fill with putty and repaint. You will need to give it some TLC if you fo purchase.

Inside the plastic wrap, and hidden within the frame, there were gouges in the edges, probably from straps, that we had to repair. Fortunately we were painting. Would have had to return if staining.

The installation of the door is pretty straight forward and easy. I have the same issue as many others. As soon as you apply primer to the frame it bubbles. Not just in one place, but in several places up and down the jamb. Also, a quick sanding will help with all the edges and fibers for when you paint. If you do buy this door be prepared for it to bubble. Here is the easiest way I figured out how to flatten the surface. Let the primer dry and get yourself a hot iron and apply it directly over the bubble and let it sit on it for 30-60 seconds and it will re-activate the glue and flatten it out. You might have to repeat it a couple of times to get it entirely flat. On the positive note, I found the plastic coating over the glass for painting the doors is a great addition. I only wish they made a better quality door.

These doors looked great at the store, but that ended when we got them home. The hinges were set too deep to where you had to force the doors closed. When I loosened the screws to shim the hinges, the wood was so dry that the screws just pulled out of the holes, necessitating the use of longer screws. It took hours of fiddling to line them up. Then, I painted them. This caused the veneer to bubble as others have noted. The last problem I had was that when I hung the doors up after painting, they expanded and warped so they were very difficult to hang and would no longer close properly after hours of work. Jeld Wen used to be a good name. I don't know what the issue is with these doors. They are made in Chile, the materials and quality are lacking.

Missing kick plate for door stoppers but other than that was pretty nice and easy. Added my own transom window to complete the look.

Low quality. The hinges were milled incorrectly into the frame, 3 had to be shimmed out to make the edge of the door close appropriately against the frame. It would have seemed trivial for the factory to set the depth of their routers correctly. The trim around the glass fits poorly and looks bad with the gap and wood that isn't painted, and cannot be reached with a paint brush.

Nice doors, rattly windows though. Will need to caulk each pane.

The doors where ok but for the money they are far from great. The frame was not well fabricated and needed lots of care to install without misaligning it. The doors themselves had many imperfections. There where staple holes from the plastic wrap, one of the center rails at the top was glued in crooked. And many of the joints had glue leakage which even after being sanded showed through the stain.

Bought for my fathers' study. very solid, heavy door. needed lots of sanding and was hard work - not simple. but ended up beautiful! does not come with mechanisms to keep door closed with doorframe.

The doors look good and they do serve their intended purpose, however, the hardware is junk and the ball latches fall apart - they require replacement every 2-3 months (its not an alignment or adjustment issue - local Home Depot says they get a lot of similar complaints). I am to the point where I will be trying to find a functional handle/hardware kit to remove the ball latches. Shame, because the doors themselves are pretty decent for the price...

Great product for the price. Easy to install and the Film on the glass really made painting ease. Had to use a razor blade to remove the Film after I painted it...

super easy install, amazing doors. Love that it comes ready to stain any way you like! total install time was about an hour two people.

I would give a much higher rating.... BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS LINKED TO THIS PRODUCT ARE FOR AN EXTERIOR DOOR!!! YO! IDIOTS< TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK! "I could do it, if you would help!"

Installed this last weekend. Overall pretty good. I did have some very minor separation of the veneer that some of the reviews mentioned but not too noticeable.
