It works wonderfully and the color of the pen is the true color of the paint. Love it!

Better paint but not dark enough.
Paint is more stable than Rust-Oleum on metal, but not Dark enough. Almost sparkly silver.
It will stay on a metal surface just like Sharpie, but Sharpie color is too purple different from black paint. I need a really Dark pen to cover metal paint scratches and holes. Spray paint can is just too big unable to reach the deep corners also cancer stinky.

Recommended purchase
We love all kinds of artsy stuff. One of my favorites are paint pens/markers. You can decorate so many things with them. They do dry rather quickly. So far they haven't transferred to hands or clothes.

Used the pen to draw a herringbone pattern on the wall and it turned out amazing. Herringbone wallpapers are expensive. Will recommend this to anyone trying a hand at little DIY projects.
