A very awesome product ! Easy to use . When you take off the cap shake the paint marker. Then you will see that you need the color to come down onto to sponge tip so you can get creative. I pressed and held it down until the paint came through then released. (Use a thick piece of cardboard to press on ). I wouldn’t use for small detailed work. Practice.

Great product. Easy to use. Handy to have around for a quick touch up of a craft. You don't have to have a small can of paint to stir and then find a brush. Just give this paint pen a few shakes and it is ready to be used. It can be used on any touch up you may have. Store this item in your drawer, ready to grab and use. I highly recommend you get one.

I used the Colorshot silver lining paint marker to put my name on my water bottle and really love the result. The silver color pops and looks great. The tip of the marker is removable to clean if needed. I have not had time but plan to also use this color to label my black and yellow totes with the contents inside, to quickly find items in the bins.

I used the treasure chest gold Colorshot paint marker to put my name on my black water bottle. The color pops and looks great. Now it's easy to find my water bottle in the work break room. The tip is removable for cleaning when needed, this is an awesome feature. The pens are super easy to use, shake it up until you hear the little ball rattle around inside then, prime the tip on scratch paper and away you go. I am not super artsy but you could really customize these water bottles or any other dark surface.

The Colorshot paint marker worked great at putting my name on a popular brand of metal water bottles. Now it's easy to find my bottle in the break room at work. Super easy to use and didn't have to go over it a second time to cover, or make the letters thicker and more bold than other permeant markers. Another great feature is you can take the tip off and wash it out, I didn't know when I would use this marker again so I washed the tip, and it was super easy and cleaned well.

The product arrived in a package that was easy to open. I followed the directions to shake the pen and then press the tip so the liquid would start flowing. It was a short process and I was able to use the marker in a few seconds. The liquid flowed easily and was quick to write. It is great that there are two options for writing: a chisel tip with a wide base and the tip for a thinner line. The first time I wrote, it worked perfectly. When I picked it back up a day later, the color separated and it had a sea-foam green undertone. It also flowed so quickly out of the pen that it let out too much liquid. When I wrote on the glass and plastic, it dripped and left a thinner coat of paint. It didn't stay where I wrote to create a bold letter. It would have worked if I held the item perfectly still and dried it with a fan, but who has time for that? Luckily, I can send this through the dishwasher and it will be a clean surface again. I wrote on paper, fabric, glass, ceramic, and plastic. The gold looks best on a dark background. It is easy to read. It is slightly metallic and not extremely sparkly. The paint dried faster than expected when first applied. I made a mistake when writing on the glass, but I was able to quickly clean it up using water and a paper towel while it was still wet. I was able to easily chip it off the plastic using a fingernail. The other colors I used with the same product worked well and didn't do this so it could have been a bad item.

The product arrived in a package that was easy to open. I followed the directions to shake the pen and then press the tip so the liquid would start flowing. It was a short process and I was able to use the marker in a few seconds. The liquid flowed easily and was quick to write. The chisel tip is fantastic. When I write from the blunt side, it allows me to write in a block font with large, bold letters. I can also use the tip if I want a thinner line for a more precise letter. I wrote on fabric, glass, ceramic, and plastic. The silver requires a dark background for it to show best. It is easy to read when on a darker background. It is a very light color and slightly metallic. It is a good silver and not extremely sparkly. The paint dries quickly. I made a mistake when writing on the glass, but I was able to quickly clean it up using water and a paper towel while it was still wet. The paint is semi-permanent on some mediums. When I ran the glass dish through the dishwasher, the paint was cleaned off. This could be an issue if you are expecting a permanent finish. This would be useful to mark your dishes for a potluck or write a message to a neighbor on the bottom or side of a casserole dish. It will wash right off when done. This does scratch off the glass, plastic, and ceramic when dried. These are fun to write with and useful on many different surfaces.

This was a bit of a good surprise. My daughter wanted it to label some shelves she had built. The pen worked great and the lettering you see in the picture is with only one coat. She was able to write just as if she had a pen in her hand so it was very easy to make the letters. The unit does say that you can add a second coat if you want to but as you can see that was not necessary. This particular color was Marshmallow and I was happy to see that it really looks like the color of homemade marshmallows. I would recommend this without hesitation.

These paint pens are so easy to use for a variety of projects and dry fairly quickly. I selected these pens in three different colors. They are about the size of a standard marker. When you remove the cap, you’ll notice the nib is white and dry. You’ll have to pump the nib against a test surface several times (approximately 30+) in order to load the nib to write. These pens are perfect for posters for garage sales, school projects, or other various household projects. They are so easy to write with and smooth too! I used the white marker pen to write my house number on my dark blue recycling bins and it only needed one coat! These paint pens are highly pigmented and the metallic sheen makes them a little sparkly. My favorite color is treasure chest! I highly recommend these for all your little project needs.

As an amateur artist, the ColorShot White Acrylic Pen is a wonderful tool to my paints and brushes. The chiseled tip allows me to address fine details, whereas a brush might fray or fan out. I hope that as I continue to use the HotShot, the top remains firm and the paint doesn’t get clogged. But for now, I am totally pleased and look forward to completing the details of my artwork

My sweet mother cleaned my crock pot so well, she scrubbed the wording right off the knob. Finding a pen or something with a fine enough tip was hard until I found the colorshot premium paint marker. Easy to use and simple directions on the package. It worked perfect. Our writing wasn't so perfect, but a little polish remover quickly removed the fresh paint and we went for a 2nd try. Now we can read the settings again on my crock pot.

The ColorShot Paint Marker is a convenient way to mark organizational tools and supplies. It shows up well, especially in Treasure Chest Dark Gold on black background, but the end product is subject to gravity's pull. It can run because it goes on so wet. The pen is easy to use; shake, pump marker tip on test surface; press tip down to get desired paint flow. If needed, allow to dry for subsequent coats. Store pen in an upright position. Nifty... the tip is removable and can be rinsed under running water to clean if desired.

Although I have used these in other colors in the past, I was disappointed with the dark gold color. The nice thing about this paint pen is the chisel tip. One of the photos shows how you can get a very fine point for smaller writing or drawing, while using the entire fat edge of the pen is about 5/16” wide. Another nice thing is that it was writing well straight out of the box. The drawback is that it wasn’t particularly bright on white paper or on darker paper (see the green beverage sign I made for a party - I ended up deciding that my old black and silver paint pens show up better). Last but not least, I used this mainly on paper and wood, where it dries almost immediately. If you plan to use these paint pens on smooth surfaces such as glass or metal, you’ll need to avoid touching it for a while - the manufacturer recommends 30 minutes to touch and 24 hours to cure. Under ideal conditions, my glass jars were totally dry within an hour (but the marker would completely wipe off if touched too early).

This is a fun, easy to use acrylic paint marker that is available in a multitude of colors. This permanent acrylic color is strong and fast drying, it took few minutes to be dry. It adhered well to a plastic wrap, painted magnetic film and wooden frame. This pen will work on wood, metal, plastic and glass as well as both dark and light surfaces. This makes it excellent for a great variety of projects and uses. Tube needs to be shaken to mix the paint and should be stored upright. The pen needs a hard surface to activate the paint to flow to the tip, which took only few seconds. Application is easy and smooth. Chisel tip has a wide surface as well as a tip for thin lines. Overall, this is a great paint pen for a large variety of uses on multitude of surface for lots of projects. Tested sample is not metallic paint.

This paint pen was both good and bad, depending upon what you want to use it for. I tried it on painted wood with a matte finish, on oaktag paper, and other, slightly shiny paper (a calendar, which is a little shiny). On the truly matte surfaces, it did fine, just like any other paint pen. It has a nice, silver, shiny grey color. However, on the calendar (slightly shiny) paper, it beaded up a little, making the lettering look messy. Overall, a good quality paint pen IF you're using it on a matte surface that won't cause it to bead up.

Dark Red Craft Paint Pen This is a paint marker with a felt chisel tip. The paint is highly-pigmented and provides a thick dark red line. It dries slightly darker than when wet, but closely resembles the color of the label on the paint marker. You need to shake the paint pen (capped) before using, and need to press on the tip to get the paint flowing. The felt tip is sturdy, but soft enough you need to be careful when pressing to prime the paint. If you press too hard, you can begin to bend and fray the finer point edge of the chisel tip like I did. It paints smoothly and works well. I have not tried to, but it states that the tip can be removed and rinsed with water to clean if needed.

The COLORSHOT "paint pen" is a neat option for painting all sorts of surfaces and materials. The paint pen looks and works just like a large chisel tip marker, but the liquid paint flows surprisingly well from the tip. The paint pen does work on paper, but I think it works best on non-pourous surfaces like plastic, metal, and glass. On paper, it looks similar to markers, but on non-pourous smooth surfaces, it works really well, providing a thicker more opaque color than most markers I've used. The paint takes a few minutes to dry, after which it seems to hold up well to the touch or rubbing. But on smooth metal or plastic, it can be scratched off, or removed if desired. This type of paint pen is a neat alternative to brushing on paint, providing much more control and neater results, without the mess of paint bottles and brushes.

These pens are very useful in craft or hobby design. They have a wedged point that enables either fine or broad paint application. Their size makes it easy to store or carry. The simple design makes it easy to apply paint to small areas. They come in various colors and types of paint. I found them useful in adding highlights to a statuary in my entrance way.

I'd never used this craft pen before, so decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did, It will write , or draw on light or dark surfaces, I chose treasure chest, which is a vibrant gold, there were many colors to choose from, all having the vibrant colors. With the chisel tip it was easy to use it in smaller areas, for sharper detail. Be sure to shake frequently, to keep the paint flowing, it dries in about 30 minutes, the tip can be removed for cleaning. I'm returning for more colors.
