Unit fit and was a suitable replacement for an older model

Bought this to replace an original installation that had lasted over 30 years. Very happy that a mischievous engineer didn't "improve" the guts so all the attachment points lined up nicely with the already installed can. Maybe not the greenest method for heating, but good for zone management.

Nice unit, compact, very quiet, good output at 1500 watts. No issues installing.

I am completely satisfied with the 1500w 220v Cadet squirrel cage wall heaters installed in my home 30 years ago. I have replaced one of the 12 heaters in this time and that was due to a noisy fan. I like the ability to heat each room as I choose and not the whole house as with a conventional forced air heater. I have friends with in floor zoned Hydronic heat and the maintenance and operating cost are far in a way higher than I pay for my almost zero maintenance and zoned Cadet heater. I strongly suggest you only purchase the Squirrel cage units over the conventional blade fan heaters due to lower operating noise levels and they are more efficient. If new construction one heater is adequate for bedrooms and bathroom etc. but in larger rooms I suggest you install one additional heater over what the sq foot room charts recommend ie 3 or 4 units in living and kitchen open areas.

The product works as advertised and fit the need to replace the existing heater.

Easy to install. Quiet. Put this thing in the wall in about 5 minutes. ready had a can in the wall so I just wedged the fan inside the space (perfect fit) and flicked it on. It worked right away. No problems with the amount of heat it generates or noise. The motor is just a faint whir in the distance. Recommend this product!

Our house is 20 years old and so are our Cadet heaters. We purchased one last week and one more today. They work great and really heat the house fast. 20 years is a great show for Cadet Heaters!

Works good. Easy to install. I replaced an identical unit that had failed after 10 years of use. Fairly quiet.

Very nice heater. It's quiet and puts out a lot of heat. Installation is very easy. However in my local area it is required to be put in by a licensed electrician. Also in my case I needed to pull a permit in order to get it installed. Needless to say I found all this out after I put it in myself.

Great product. Ordering was easy and product was shipped quickly. Order arrived on time. Easy to follow instructions. Bought two along with the correct thermostats to update fifty year old baseboard heaters and to give more usable floor space in bedrooms.

I just installed it. It needs to run over the winter for me to provide a review. I was disappointed in the number of installation possibilities. For parallel wiring of two registers on one thermostat, what about the two wires returning to the thermostat and wire-nutting them together in the thermostat box. How about examples how to adjust wattage so the two living spaces have more or less equal heat, even though one has more windows then the other.... -kevin

I've had these for 7 years in my mountain house. I have 14 total. They are a great, value solution to heating bedrooms and bathrooms that are not used very often. You can choose wattage output. I recently had to replace one. I didn't realize when I originally installed them that they are not recommended for altitudes over 7,500 feet. I'm at 10,500 so the fact one had to be replaced is not surprising. I have three connected to one thermostat. This was too much load at full wattage for the thermostat and the 20 amp circuit. My first electrician did not catch this. Just replaced a couple of thermostats and reduced watts on one in the bathroom. All working great now.
