Bad knees make some tasks a little tough. This seat helps a lot. Installation was very easy. Just need a large screwdriver. I recommend this product highly. I can't believe I waited so long to get this and install.

It raised the seat 3” as described but for a male the angle is bad. Needs a better Pee guard. I’ve taped a 6” x 6” section of a plastic sandwich bag to cover the front area.

Easy to install but it made the seat a little to high. My feet did not touch the floor. Make sure you measure before you buy.

I am returning it because I am unable to install it. Maybe it's just where my toilet is located it, but I cannot attach the wing nuts to those long bolts.

It is solidly made and easy to clean. The best feature is that it has long bolts that allow it to fasten directly to the toilet bowl as a normal toilet seat is installed. Safety precaution notes regarding not reaching while using because the seat can shift & severely disabled folks requiring help are good because there are narrow edges that hold the seat directly on the center of the bowl. Under normal use, sitting directly on it hasn't been a shifting problem for me at all. I'm very pleased at it being able to lift up so I can also clean the porcelain toilet bowl & edge easily. I only gave this a 'Good' rating due to those safety issues which haven't been a problem for me in any way. They are precautions for unusual situations and should be used as is the case with all things. I'd have given it an 'Excellent' otherwise. I want people to be aware & cautious for their safety in all things.

Very sturdy. Easy to install.

Easy enough to assemble, but ultimately had to return it.It was too high...probably, two inches would have worked. Put too much strain on the legs. Also felt like sitting on a kid's potty seat. Didn't fit the round toilet well, so seemed a bit precarious.

It did what I have hoped it will do. I am satisfied.

People over react to the sliding of the seat. It's not that bad. The landing and take off is fine.

Excellent product but we returned it because the 3 1/2 inch height was to tall for us. Our feet barely reached the floor.

The toilet riser was just what I needed.

It does everything I needed it to . It works just as advertises .It works with the existing toilet seat ,and gives the added height needed to ease standing when finished . Great product .

Overall pretty good. Package needs to include adapter to make it fit into toilet holes to better secure the seat from shifting side to side.

it's useable but very small in radius

seat was the wrong shape for my use. round was not correct. i odered an ELONGATED shape and it was perfect.this was my error not the original seat. excellant seat otherwise. I really liked the hinged feature.

Seat was easy for me to install and fit the round bowl pretty well. Easy to clean with the hinge feature. Next best thing to totally replacing the toilet and much less expensive, of course.

This raises the height of your toilet seat about 3.5" (It doesn't say so on the website but should). This product is good for people with knee issues. It works fine, although I am a little concerned about keeping it clean. It also is a little 'squirrelly' with the long bolts holding all three components--toilet bowl, riser, and seat--together. You put your toilet seat on top of it, using the included bolts to attach both the seat and the riser. The bolts are stainless steel. Plastic might be better (if strong enough) or a 'sleeve' to prevent contact between steel and porcelain would be helpful. I improvised sleeves out of 1/2" sprinkler swing line plastic pipe.

Even though you could bolt it in to the back of the toilet, it seemed like there was too much 'play' in the seat when a large person came down kind of hard, (eg, no flexibility in the knees). For example, we have a riser purchased in '04 and it has a deeper space for fitting into the bowl. That gives a secure feeling when sitting down. The Carex diid not offer me that secure feeling.

My parents love this raised toilet seat. I like the fact that it is hinged, when makes cleaning so much easier.I'm sure I will be purchasing another one in the near future for my home too. GREAT PRODUCT!
