These bad boys have done me good. 2 summers of framing and i blew out the backdoor today. I kinda like the cheek to cheek rips to cool off the bunz but they had to go.

After two summers of light wear while wearing them today. I was very disappointed to get a large tear at the side seam. I would have expected better quality from Carhartt. I contacted customer service who only offered to have me send them in for review by a quality team. Would have at least expected to have been offered a new pair or a discount on a new pair. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Your pants always run 1/2, and lately, 1 inch under what size states. Spouse won't let me buy anymore after last several were so undersized.

I really like the design with the phone pocket but my normal Carhartt 33 waist size is noticeably tighter than the pants from the same order.

Every time I find a pant or short from Carhartt that I like, they find a way to screw it up. The 9" inseam on the older version of these shorts (back when they were called Rigby short) were PERFECT. Now they just look ridiculously long, and I'm 6'1"...they're supposed to be SHORTS! If I wanted something that covered my knees I would wear pants. I just can't figure out why they do this with their staple products.

They fit the same but the fabric and comfort is not. He told me not to buy these anymore?

Very good shorts. Last a long time. Wear them year round to work and they last forever!

These were a little long for me. I'm only 5' 9" I like the shorter inseam!

Your "standard" inseam length is 10". It will do...... However, I prefer a 9" as a "standard" length. Also, make different colors more available.

The shorts are great but by the time I received them they were twice the price as shown !

Was looking for the replacement for the Rigby short and this was it. Fits true to size and will be buying more in the future.

Sturdy, nice fitting, and durable, they are my outside go to work short. I love the cell phone pocket. A better color selection would be nice.

I've always liked Carhartt so, as long as they fit, I figured I would like these too. My wife aid they looked good on me. Do I need to go on?

It's the only shorts I wear. They're durable. More importantly, they have the side pocket for my phone. It's in a very convenient location.

The shorts fit perfectly, thank goodness for 28 waist sizes for smaller gentlemen.

The shorts are excellent, Like the color. Fit is perfect.I have the green and sand colors already and needed another color. lots of pockets and i love the extra side pocket for my cell.

Great work shorts. Gave it a 4 because they are a little long for someone who is 5'8". However because of quality and fit, will order more.

Overall well made....rubs a bit against the top of my right thigh. This is not from being over tight.

Since I discovered these shorts with a convenient cell phone pocket, that's all I wear now. They're comfortable and stand up to any work project I work on. I even wear them as dress shorts with a collared shirt when going out for a casual dinner. I have to be honest, my wife holds back a few pairs for those nicer nights out and even irons them for out-of-town trips like cruises, sporting events, and concerts. I never wear cargo shorts anymore. These are my favorites.

They r 28's but after washing them once they shrank to a 25. Now I can't return them for a bigger size

Pro: Great everyday shorts. I have lived in these during the warm-weather months for years. They're functional, comfortable and durable. Con: I wish Carhartt made these with 33" waist. 32s are too tight; 34s are a bit loose and want to ride down on the hips.
