Sturdy product, attractive finish and workmanship. Easy to assemble and straight forward instructions. Love the ability to run it from my home's natural gas supply. Depending on fuel type and run vs start up the generator's power output is between 7000-10,000 watts but the NEMA L14-30R four prong locking plug is rated for 30 amps at 250 volts which equals 7500 watts. Stated another way the plug used to connect the generator to my home does not have a high enough rated capacity to safely transmit the full power of the generator. Champion's engineering staff needs to be schooled.

Man I tell you, this thing just keeps on ticking. I have over 950 hours on my generator and it still runs good as new. I maintain it just as much as the book says to and it just keeps working

I have free natural gas here, product came with great instructions and everything I needed to hook up , works awesome, use it to power my garage during outages, which happen quite a bit here . would highly recommend , tripower gives you many options of powering if need be

Did fantastic during my last power outage. It ran everything I needed it to run without a hiccup. The options to be able to run from three different fuel sources is a game changer. I highly recommend.

Easy to set up and get ready. Haven't had a chance to use yet, but not having to pull start will put it way above others.

Starts right up and very easy to use. I try it first with a gas, work great, little bit loud in the garage but outside it should be fine.

I purchased the tri-fuel generator for backup power during outages. I wanted a generator that I could run off of natural gas to ensure I would not run out of fuel during a prolonged outage. I also wanted the flexibility of using my generator elsewhere if natural gas was not available. This generator also offered a capacity that was more than adequate for my needs. It came out of the box without any scratches, dings, missing parts, etc. It fired right up on first attempt using gasoline. I have not tried natural gas or LPG yet, but intend to do so soon.

I love the fact that it is Tri Gas. We lose power a lot in this area and the champion generator works flawlessly to take care of it, I've never had a problem with it. The only thing i would suggest is a better tire, I don't think they will last long.

I worked in the propane business for 25 years. Propane is the best fuel for home generators due to an unlimited shelf life. This model uses high quality regulators and hoses and will operated on gasoline, natural gas or propane. As your living situation changes, rest assured you will have a combination of fuels available. Buy now, use for a lifetime. Very impressed with Champion products.

Will use for house back up when grid is down.Start up and run in was easy and it ran perfectly. Started and ran on propane .Will run on gas in very cold weather.

When i cut the shrink wrap off i could see a hole in the box looked like fork lift damage. I purchased this to use with natural gas and the box damage led to the regulator being broken off. This looked like something outside Homedepot control and I was able to weld a new support on and remount the regulator seems to work ok. The lesson look under the shrink wrap for box damage if i had this would not have been accepted. The staff at Homedepot are always helpful.

this generator helped me out during the constant power outages. it was easy to assemble and started right up. instructions are easy to follow. this ran most of my house during the constant power outages we get because of the power grid. i like that it runs off 3 fuels and i mainly use natural gas and works great.

I bought this generator as a backup for power outages here in Michigan. In winter storms we lose power often and for days and I needed something that I could rely on to power my home. My home is on the smaller side so this generator will power most everything in my house. The natural gas hook up is incredible. The option of three fuels though really makes this generator versatile and perfect for any use.

I live in north Idaho and when the power goes out this generator does great at keeping the power to my essential items going. Even a few members of my family have this same one and it does great. Would definitely buy again!

This is the best generator we have ever owned. No gasoline no problem, no propane no problem, natural gas no problem. It works with a high-performance engine totally.

It came in on time. Had no damage due to shipping. Was easy to setup and run. Haven’t had to use it yet, now I am prepared.

I bought this for back up power and have not needed to use it for that yet (hopefully I wont ever need to). I wanted to start it up to verify it worked and could not get it going using NG. It took a long time to get through to customer support but when I did they were able to get me going. we were able to start it using propane. Once it started using propane I was able to then start it using NG.

I've been using a gas generator for years. I finally decided to move up and purchase the tri-fuel. since I have natural gas connections on the back of my house. This will be great that I won't need to go looking for fuel anymore. The only thing I think would be nice is if more connectors for the natural gas and propane connections were supplied.

Generator arrived in very good condition, well packaged. It was delivered on the stated delivery date and time. Setup was quite simple, after servicing the unit it started with no problems and ran quite well. All seems fine for now, only time will really tell. The main selling point for me was the tri-fuel feature as I plan to operate on natural gas.

The unit was purchased as backup power for our home. During the break-in period it would have been nice to have a mention in the manual that the exhaust needs to be DOWN WIND ! Otherwise the CO detector trips, and turns the unit off ( as it should ). After figuring this out for myself, break-in went without a problem. The large gas tank is a definite plus, nice long run time on gasoline. Haven't had a chance to try it out with natural gas as yet. WIll try out soon. Love the versatility with the fuels.

I use this as a home back up generator. I run it on natural gas. It's powerful enough to run most of my house. It's quieter than my 25 year old one. Only have 10 hrs on it so far. But it's running fine so far. I wrote this review for the free tee shirt. It is a good generator.
