Great grill, easy to use and maintain.

cooks well, but rusted out in 2 years. bowl rusted through, then one wheel ruted completely off. Then the ridge holding bowl rusted out. Also starter button needed replacement. I have spent over $90.00 dollars, now it's ready for trash bin. stay away. Home Depot discontinued this item,

I've had my grill for a year... The starter button has broke off from the front and now hangs inside the grill, the tru plate has rusted and has several holes in it burning food, the temperature reader has to be tapped consistently while cooking for it to read correctly as it sticks, and HomeDepot assembled the side plates on incorrectly and they don't even function. I'm so upset that I want to take the grill to HomeDepot and throw it out of the truck at the front door. I'm livid with Char-Broil and Homedepot!

I was attracted to the idea of Tru- Infrared cooking, where the burners are housed under a solid pan. Seemed like it would be easier maintenance, but found that with nowhere for the drippings to go but onto the super heated plate, everything cooked had an overly smokey, burnt flavor, no matter how low the temperature. Switched to a traditional Weber Grill after 2 years. No going back. Though this is discontinued, I would avoid this type of cooking system!

I am amazed by this grill and have actually retired my large 4 burner Charbroil. The drill catch/pan that creates the indirect heat does two things in my opinion that make this a winner. It catches the grease and saves the burners. It also helps with an even distribution of heat for nice cooking. I highly recommend this grill. I think I picked this up for under $200. Loving it! It came assembled, so I cannot speak to that.

I purchased this bbq in a box. was able to put it together in less than an hour. only bummer is that it must have dropped at some point. The main lid was bent on both sides with a little work i was able straighten it out not perfect but completely functional. I really like the radiant heat tray eliminates flare ups and burning.

I was a little unsure after reading some of the negative reviews, but so far this grill is vast improvement over my last grill. I did have a flare up, but I think it was because I seasoned the grill too much. I like the tray in the bottom. It makes cleanup a lot easier. I also like that the tank in enclosed in a cabinet.

Once you get past the assembly stage, the grill itself works very well. It preheats and cooks quickly. Cleaning the grill is not as easy as conventional grills because of the need to remove the grates and clean the "infrared" pan for each use. Assembly is a real painful process, the directions are only line drawing diagrams and parts lists without any written explanations or guidance. The diagrams lack sufficient detail (and in some cases are shown incorrectly) to be clear and helpful. Overall the grill is a good value if you don't mind putting in some extra effort for assembly and use.

I had the grill assembled at store and the electronic lighter doesn't work. Grill is nice and I am pleased except for the ignition.

Sure, you can spend $500 or more on a fancy grill with side burners and gadgets, but let's be real- will you ever really USE them? I had a 4-burner CharBroil gas grill before this one and it was too much grill for me. Even after preheating for 15 minutes it would never get hotter than 300 degrees. Yet in 5-10 minutes I can be over 500 degrees on this infrared grill. And when I put food on, you hear that great sizzle and KNOW you're grilling up something awesome. It takes a few weeks to get adjusted to this different way of cooking. But I like the induction/infrared barrier and how hot the grill gets. The self-clean features is really nice, too. Assembly was a pain in the butt, I'll be honest. Hindsight- I'd spend the extra $50+ and have HD assemble and deliver for me. I got this one on sale and am glad I did. It was worth the price and so far I'm using it more than my old grill.

This is a great grill! Everything we've grilled so far turns out beautiful and super tender. We totally recommend it and will buy it again

I bought this grill because the price was right and because "tru-infrared" concept seemed like a good idea. After using it for a while I can say that I prefer the version that I used to have, that had stainless steel grates. The porcelain coated cast iron grates look good to begin with, but they are hard to keep clean. The instructions say that you are supposed to clean the infrared emitter after each use and oil it before use. However, it is like a huge drip pan that catches everything underneath the grates. It is a terrible design that will be impossible to keep clean.

Love this grill. Wish I had gotten an infrared gill sooner. Cooks in half the time of regular gas grills, heats up quickly, and food is so juicy!

Purchased the grill assembled so can't comment on that but as far as performance I love this grill. Being able to slow cook without the fear of flame ups is awesome. Cooking low and slow has never been easier.

This grill cooks as well as any I ever had, probably better. I really like that it is difficult to "burn" food on it and it cooks evenly. I'm still experimenting, but so far, a winner! Very nice! Only thing is it was difficult to unload from the truck as it is a little flimsy to pick up or lift, but it rolls really well once on the ground. Not a real bad thing, but I did wish it had places to grab for unloading and lifting over curbs and such.It is in the place it will stay now, but getting it there could have been easier I think.

I would have given this grill a 5 star rating if it was a little easier to fine tune the temperature. It's an excellent grill and I really like it. I bought another one for my mom for mother's day.

Had a weber before that rusted away ,expensive parts. Saw this on sale. small but grills great. There are NO flare ups. Easy clean ups on it. Got it two months So far love it, instant lite up! I recommend this product

This is the best propane grill that I ever owned. The cooking is actually great with no flareups and burnt food. I own two of these models at my home and cottage in Canada and one at my winter home in Florida. Cleaning is easy. I highly recommend this grill.

The grill was ordered and picked up already to go. All I did was hooked up the gas.

We took advantage of the free assembly option for the grill and picked it up ready to use. Quality is good for the money spent. In our climate and with the use we put it to, we have found we have to replace a grill about every two years so this is well worth the money and will meet our expectations.

I read a lot of reviews on this grill before purchasing it. We love it. We needed a small er grill for our deck. Even though it's smaller than the previous grill it will cook plenty of food when we have company. It cooks the food perfectly. We have used it several times and everything has been great. The store offered free assembly which we took advantage of.

It's faster cooks faster , it use less propane. I love the cooking settings and the finish is bling worthy.

I bought it assembled, which was a smart move, I have used it twice and it lives up to the claims, it does not work well on clean, but that is what I expected.

Great for two people, bought it on sale for $199.00 (assembled) You need to read the instructions! The TRU-INFRARED cooks differently than your old Weber. Once you get the hang of it you will be happy with how fast it cooks and how moist everything stays.
