This is a glass light fixture for $6.78. I got 3 of them. Make sure to tighten the spring on the clamps/clips so that the glass does not fall off. The clamps had soft foam stuck to it. I was not sure if we leave the sticky foam or remove it. It might be there to prevent the cover from breaking during transportation. Turn off the main electrical line. A stripper to strip the wires would be helpful, simple hand tools, and a flash light. The original light fixture used light bulbs that were at least $7 bucks a piece. These new light fixtures use regular light bulbs. This $6.78 light fixture does not look cheap. Very clean. The light bulb I put in was a 23w white LED and it shines nice and bright. The max is 60 watts for this light fixture. Do not exceed 60 watts. Super affordable and nice light fixture.

Super easy install and easy to change bulb as well

Really nice fixture. Easy install, solid build, great quality. The fixture is in my office and it works great. I use a Philips color changing bulb (you can use LEDs in this fixture) and it adds a nice pop of color when I’m not working. I paid under $10.00 for this fixture and it’s easily worth more. Looks really sharp, and it’s bright with only one Philips color bulb. Here are photos. (you can dim the bulb using the app). I get as much brightness as I need from this fixture and it looks awesome lighting the room up. It takes a 60 watt bulb or a 60 watt LED equivalent, about 8.8 watts. Definitely recommend this fixture, it’s modern, sleek, and easy to clean the glass shade which has a semi frosted look. The clips that hold the glass are nice because instead of having to unscrew all of them, one of the clips is spring loaded. All you need to do is pull gently on the spring loaded one and remove the glass to clean, instead of having to unscrew the clips individually. Nice feature since I clean the glass weekly.

It looks dinky and cheap.

It’s simple and modern look. Easy to install as well. I have arranged to lay glass tiles on its shade to make it interesting little. I like it!

I'm impressed with the look of this light fixture and combining the good clean look with the inexpensive purchase price I can't go wrong.

This is a great little fixture. Yes, it's inexpensive and you can find a better one, but not for the price. It is great for closets, utility rooms and places where style is not all that important. But it looks pretty decent too. One of the three fingers that hold the glass shade is spring loaded, which makes it real easy to pop on and off. I needed to get an inspection prior to installing the bedroom ceiling fans, so since it was so cheap, I just used it as a place holder. It installs in 10 min, a lot faster than a ceiling fan!

Looks great for an inexpensive price. As others have said it's not as opaque when lit as the pics on the HD site. Installs easily and looks way better that the old style square glass ceiling lights. Perfect for rentals.

Very simple and low cost, replaceable bulb for the price you just can't go wrong it. This one is replacing a Led light in the laundry similar in shape but bigger I bought them also at home depot, in matter of fact I bought 4 and all of them went bad in just a few months. This little one just works and has a clean and simple look. Installation was a breeze and you can use any bulb you like. I will recommend this if you are on a budget or just want something simple.

Unbelievable steal of a deal! I replaced an outdated fixture with one of those expensive circline florescent bulbs. I ended up paying less for this new fixture than the cost of a circline bulb. I am using a 100W equivalent LED bulb that lights up the whole bathroom.

These look like the same type of lights that go for $15 on up to $30+. My suggestion is order and pay online then pick up in store. These weren't displayed in my store (least I couldn't find them with all the other lights on display) but they had lots in stock. Only gripe was I was expecting the base to be nickle and not white and I had to tweak the spring latch design with some small washers to make the cover sit level to base and ceiling, but for the money can't complain and pleased with my purchase of seven. They look great in my hallways and closets.

It worked perfect for an angled ceiling we have in our closet. I love that we can use a wattage bulb of our choice and not have it too dark or too bright. I would recommend or buy again.

This light was a great deal on clearance and was a perfect fit.

Easy to install. Perfect for a bedroom or hall. Looks better than the standard contractor lights you see. A plus is needing only one bulb. The lens is opaque, but keeps the room bright with an 800 lumen bulb.

Used as a ceiling light in a smaller condo bathroom. Plenty of illumination, a breeze to install, easy to remove dome for cleaning. I gave up on the LED fixtures - they never last anywhere near their advertised hours - lightbulbs the way to go! Excellent value, definitely would recommend.
