Arrived safe and pest free.

I have never gone wrong with Costa Farms. This ZZ arrived in pristine condition, super healthy and not even one bad or broken leaf. The price was very reasonable for a plant this big. Full size plant, not a little 6 inch plant.

I’ve been looking for a Raven for a while, HD had them on sale and I was thrilled to finally get one. FedEx delayed the delivery of my package... BUT, even after being in a box for a week, this plant is beautiful!

This plant came a few days before it was originally slated. Which was a happy surprise! The box it came in was very strong and clearly labeled to stay upright. There was a little loose soil in the box so I recommend opening it outside, but there was no damage to the plant. I love this color of this plant. It’s new growth is a bright lime green, and as it matures, it turns a gorgeous dark green that’s almost black. As the new growth ages, it starts at the tips and almost looks like it’s decaying, but it’s very much alive. It’s been very fun to watch it age. I will say upon delivery the plant was a little lopsided. Like it grew towards a light and wasn’t turned often. I have it in my living room above the fireplace. It’s about 7’ away from a north facing window. Not a ton a light, but as you can hopefully see from the pictures it is growing! And I’ve been turning it regularly so that it grows more uniformly. I’ve only lost one leaf since it’s arrival. It doesn’t like a lot of water, but it’s potted in a nursery pot with drain holes inside a nice ceramic one with some clearance at the bottom so that the roots don’t have to sit in the standing water. I did buy this plant when it was on sale, so at a regular price I’m not sure if I would have bought it. I was looking for this particular variegation and it came as described. So I am happy with my purchase!

Plant arrived on time very well and security packaged the plant is exquisite. I had called several places looking for a ZZ raven in town. I was skeptical About ordering a plant online without me picking it out myself Glad I went with home depot.

Super easy to take care of. I am definitely getting another one once they’re back in stock.

This plant is beautiful! So much so it looks fake. The package was secure, and packaged well. The ceramic planter and plant were not damaged at all. It even came with a card advising how to care for it. I would definitely order from here again!

I received the pot in good condition but the plant is completely withered with dried leaves and withered stems. I would def not recommend this seller. Please see pic for details on how I received it.

The plant was nice, the color was rich and true to its color name “Raven”. It came with a pot that complimented the plant nicely with the white ceramic pot. The only reason why I rated it 4 stars is because the plant size and height was very small and skinny looking than described in the description. I uploaded a comparison with a regular zz plant vs a Raven zz plant so you guys can see the comparison in the height difference and appearance.

I Ordered this and it took about three days to get to my place . When it came it was package correctly and was so beautiful . I would recommend costa farms to everyone. I can’t wait to order more great quantity plants. Thank you so much !!

The cost of this zz raven for the size is a steal, plus a cache pot to boot! This came healthy and full. Took one star off, and I don’t think this is a real negative, because there were so many rhizomes busting out of the grow pot that I had to cut it out and replant in a slightly bigger terracotta pot. Considering I paid for the ceramic decorative pot for it that I could no longer use for this zz, I took a star off. But I got to look at the root system very well bc of repotting immediately and they were healthy and big. Can’t report any pests yet bc eggs can still hatch that I didn’t see. Overall, extremely satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate to order from Costa Farms again.

I have been searching for a raven ZZ after loving my regular ZZ. This plant is gorgeous, a great size, and looks exactly as pictured! I have ordered quite a few plants online recently and this one arrived in far and above better condition than the rest. Very little soil even spilled out and there was zero damage to the leaves. The decorative pot is nice too. It has a little texture and a good weight. It also came in a nursery pot which will make for easy watering. I think my plant collection is pretty complete at the moment (aka I have no more space), but if I do order again, this nursery would be at the top of my list!

I love this plant! Mine arrived in a very well packed box and when I opened it my plant was well secured and looking very healthy. I trust this particular brand/seller Costa Farms based on this experience and other plants that I have purchased from the store that are from them. Love it!

This is my 2nd online purchase from Costa Farms and I am yet to be let down. Raven (I name my plant babies) arrived very quickly (3 days) and was in perfect condition. You can tell she was packaged with great care and well watered for the journey. There wasnt a bit of spilled soil. They really prepared her for the trip. Pics dont do justice. Shes a beautiful addition. I highly recommend!!!

I was nervous about ordering plants online(I’ve had some disasters in the past) But this raven zz came in mint condition!! The packaging was actually difficult to take off, but that just means they cared enough to make sure it arrived safely. It’s so beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

I've been craving a ZZ "Raven" since I first saw one. These beautiful plants are finally affordable. It was my first time ordering a plant through the mail and I was skeptical about the size and condition. Well... it was perfect!!! Well packaged, healthy and just like the add photo. I'm planning on ordering 2 more for my sisters!

This plant was shipped in very good condition. The packaging was almost overkill which is amazing. The dirt didn’t even come out of the pot. Very excited to see this beautiful plant grow as it is my first house plant. My wife has a bunch others but I wanted the Raven specifically. Very happy!

Almost perfect. Item was shipped quickly and directly from Costa Farms in Florida. It took 4 days to arrive to Washington state. Very fast. Lucky for me - there were no delays. Ever since the pandemic started, delays tend to be common. Be aware if you're ordering certain plants online. Since this Raven ZZ is still a ZZ - it was hardy enough that I was willing to take the risk. Item itself was packed EXTREMELY well. Thank you Costa Farms! Even though I ordered 2, they still packed each very well in 2 separate boxes. Much appreciated. Not sure if it was also extra stable due to the ceramic planter included in the purchase. One box arrived dented, but it did not affect the plant inside. Each plant came in a tall vertical box, clearly labeled as LIVE plant inside. There was a bamboo stake in each planter to keep the planter from shifting around. Additionally. The planter was placed in a cardboard base that fit the planter snugly and was wrapped tightly and in multiple layers with plastic wrap and paper to secure the plant in general. Best I've ever experienced buying a plant online. On the note, the ceramic cache pot is much nicer than I anticipated. It's also Made in Germany, which is also a nice touch. Plants arrived healthy- no issues with bugs. The only negative I experienced was that both of my plants arrived "slanted" - similar to some of the other reviewers experiences. I can't be sure if that is due to the longer transit journey cross country or if it's because the plant was like that when it was shipped out. The medium it's planted it was still pretty wet when it arrived, so I did not water it and will be monitoring it closely for signs of root rot. From my past experience with ZZ plants, it should straighten itself out over time without a problem. My first ZZ was very bent because I had it in too direct of light in a S window. After moving it to an Eastern exposure, it was happy again and straightened out over a couple of months. NOTE ON PHOTO: The fungus gnat trap in the ceramic planters is just a precautionary procedure I do with all the plants I bring home. I did NOT see any signs of pests or fungus gnats on my plants from Costa Farms. However, they just arrived yesterday- so I will be monitoring the plants indefinitely until I feel sure that they have no issues.

Plant was almost exactly as pictured! It was wrapped well and arrived without damage. The fact that it came with a ceramic pot was a huge plus!

the worst!! it was delivered more than 2 weeks behind scheduled time. I know there’s Covid, but as per tracking monitoring. the plant wasn’t even shipped on the promised date that I am supposed to received it. The plant is not stable also, soil is so soft that you can say, that they just planted it.

This plant arrived as promised and was very well packaged with not much soil loss and soil still wet. However, it is not 12”-14” tall as advertised. The tallest sprig barely reAches 9”. I still would not mind if the plant was as full as advertised in the picture and as seen in the other review pics. There are only 2-3 healthy stalks in the pot. Hope it grows well.
