Succulents are a great choice for people who don’t want to spend a lot of time caring for their indoor plants. Because they live where rainfall is scarce, succulents store water in their leaves. Pachira aquatica is the scientific name of the cat safe plant known as the money tree. Money tree plants are a low-maintenance decorative tree that are easy to grow indoors. Kittens in particular are attracted to money tree plants for climbing.
There is a species of jade plant (crassula ovata) also sold by the name money tree, but this plant is not safe for your cat.

Named for its coin-shaped leaves, Chinese money plants, or pilea plants, offer a splash of green color that can brighten any room. Monstera plants add color to spaces as well but are much larger indoor plants than pilea plants. We also carry fiddle leaf figs, which feature large, wavy leaves.
