Can only be used in very small joints, a learning curve but still melted over the side of the joint or curling on itself and not filling in the joint. Concept is good, just didn’t work as well as I had hoped

Too narrow to do much good. Needed the larger diameter product I'd received before. Suspect it was my fault I didn't get the right thing but don't know what good the narrow diameter filler would be good for.

The product works as promised and seals cracks well but can be a little challenging to melt precisely where you want it due to the product twisting as you melt it. It’s better than most liquid sealants but I was hoping for a precise melt that would have a uniform and consistent bead.

It's not easy to melt. If applying a lot of heat to it, it will be scorched on the top and the bottom of the stick stays intact.

Works well, does not re-melt well so take your time in the initial application and make sure it’s adhering to the concrete as best you can. I hooked up a 25 lb propane bottle but I have a lot of linear feet to cover. I have a 10-15 deg slope, it will run - work bottom up. Avoid cold and wind.

Overall good product difficult to use it is stiff. Needs to be warmed to become malleable. The strand varies in thickness from 1/4 to 3/4 inch. I needed less than 1/4 in thickness. Requires a lot of heat to melt which if not careful burns the material.

Didn't work for this DIYer. Couldn't get it to melt enough to flow to edges. Customer service very nice but very slow. Sent advanced torch, but still took too long to melt and wouldn't flow to sides in some sections.

Since I’d never used this before I was concerned that I would make a huge mess. Luckily, this was a very easy product to apply and use. The only issue is that the final color is a tiny bit lighter than I expected, but not deal breaker.

I've tried everything from urethanes to epoxies and this is the best product out there..It takes some practice tho. Make sure the bottom is melted well. If they sold a heating tool something like a hot glue gun to apply Crack Stix I would buy it. As a matter of fact I'm designing one now.

This hot got to be one of the worst products I have used! I burned up 3 large cylinders of propane and 4 hours of my time yesterday trying to melt about 15 feet of the product into two driveway expansion joints. Today, I spent two hours pulling out what progress I made yesterday. This product turned out to be a mess! This does not stay in place when you melt it. It heats up, bubbles, flops over and melts outside of the expansion joint into a gooey mess. You have to use a lot of heat to melt this product, and when you overheat it, it turns brown. This is not worth the trouble. I am going to use concrete caulk in my expansion joints. This will be MUCH faster, and more effective. The only people who make the use this look easy is the manufacturer. I cannot recommend this product.

I have installed about 250 ft so far with satisfactory results. Moderate "learning curve". Careful preparation of the crack/joint is the key to a satisfactory installation and short cuts will waste time and material. The cane torch worked well with no problems. It will take time to evaluate the product's performance in seasonal weather especially freeze/thaw conditions.

Crack-Stix worked pretty good to fill in small cracks and even larger cracks by adding more Stix to make puddles. It takes a lot of heat to really make it work as I needed it, but once I figured that out, it did the job. I ordered more to do even more cracks.

    Great product if used properly.
I researched the product and found it was the best for my needs. The product worked very well and was easy to use. I used a roofing torch which I bought for $40.00 and a standard propane tank from my barbeque grill. I originally used a hand held torch which took about an hour to complete about ten feet. I do not recommend a hand torch. When I upgraded to the propane/roofing torch the process moved much faster. It ended up taking me about two hours to fill 225 x 1/2 inch linear feet. This product is great and worked extremely well.

    On porch
I used this on my porch to fill the space in between the slabs. I heat the Crack Stix with map gas then I toss sand on top. Works for me quite well.

    concrete crack filler
I used this product and was disappointed in that it used a lot and took a long time to melt left a lot of scorched spots. I Also bought the black for the blacktop and that seemed to be thicker and melted much better.

      This stuff doesn't work
I made several attempts to use this product for expansion joints in my sidewalk. I found it difficult to work with and I also found the results to be poor. I ended up returning the product and getting something different.
