Good soft light bettet than fluorescent bulbs

2700 Kelvin temperature works great for my office.

These bulbs are nice and bright with color that is very similar to the old style incandescent bulbs. What’s nice about this line is that these are damp rated and can be used in bathrooms with a shower. The previous line, 4Flow, was not damp rated, and therefore could not be used in damp locations. Also, Cree now finally has a 100W A19 bulb available. In the past, only 40W and 60W were available in the A19 style. These actually look very similar to the incandescent bulbs. Cree has finally gotten it right with this line.

So good - worth the money. I bought the ecosmart bulbs, put them in, and dimmed the lights. the hummed & buzzed & didn't dim that well. I went back to home depot & got the CREE bulbs - and they work perfectly. I know that you're supposed to upgrade your dimmer - but 2 things: I don't want to upgrade my dimmer, and it's way faster to just get these bulbs.

Cree 60w replacement went out 2 years after purchase and installation. Cree promptly sent me a replacement! Great company great products!

Let me immediately indicate that the only reason for the low review is around dimming performance. If you do not plan to use a dimmer with these bulbs, they are an excellent choice. That said, if you label a bulb as "dimmable" AND also make additional marketing statements on your packaging (ie "Better Dimming, no hum, no buzz"), you probably should make sure that the bulb actually meets those statements - hence the poor review. In every dimmable fixture I tried (Leviton, lutron, and GE/Jasco dimmers), these bulbs had buzz. Even replacing older model CREE bulbs that did not have buzz, these still buzz. Seems a step backward. That said, these bulbs produce good light, and a good match for 2700K (not too yellow, not too white), so if not dimming, I'd say these could work for you.

The lights are nice but they say no buzz on the package. They buzzed loudly in my ceiling fan that is on a dimmer (lutron maestro led dimmer). Pretty much a common theme-could not find any led bulbs that did not buzz with a lutron maestro dimmer/Hampton bay Glendale fan. Just living with the buzz.

My electrician told me Cree makes the best LED lights and I agree. They emit plenty of light, but are not harsh. That’s all I buy now.

Would flicker when dimmed

This is exactly what I was looking for.

Replaced some fluorescent bulbs with these warm 60 watt bulbs dimmable bulbs. All worked out of the package.

Fine at full power, but noticeable hum/buzz when dimmed. Tried these with two different dimmer switches, same result. Can't recommend it because of the dimming issues, but works fine if you don't need that feature.

We used these bulbs in ceiling fixture in living room. Love that they are energy efficient, dimmable and will not have to be changed for many, many years.

The bulbs were so good my daughter couldn't believe the difference. I went back and purchased some for her and a friend. My friend is holding on to the box to go get some more.

I had a CREE LED bulb go bad and I wrote CREE about it. They sent me 6 new bulbs FREE. Great customer service !!!

These bulbs are different from what I thought are the same Cree 60W LED bulbs. They are lighter and feel like they are made cheaper. We’ll see how they work over the long-term.

Very nice bulbs which put out a good amount of light. Works well in my living room and hallways. May be too bright to put 3 in a bedroom.

They're great. Save energy, don't get hot, are dimmable. They are a true, warmer light than other LED bulbs and returned. They produced a milky blue white.

Seems to work well so far. Doesn't dim quite as low as I'd like, but few LED bulbs do. Dims nicely with no discernible buzz. Much better light than the <1-year-old Ultitech bulbs they replaced.
