This was easy to setup since it arrives completely assembled. All that's required is to rip off the corrugated container and the supporting wood frame and plug in the charger. I have used the tractor 4 times and so far I have not encountered any significant problems. The unit works well after you understand the controls and interlocks. The manual is not very well written and it requires one to reread it several times to understand the features. I suspect I will have the same problem when maintenance is required. I have a half acre to mow and I need all of the battery capacity to get it done, As I get more experience with this tractor I hope to finish with some power left, The ride is bumpy but it's good features make it a good choice vs a gas powered machine.

Great mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for environmentally conscious homeowners. It is also comparatively quiet to a gas mower. My lawn is probably about .4 acres and uses about 70% charge. Honestly? This makes me look forward to mowing my grass every week.

We waited A MONTH for this mower to be delivered. It came loose on the truck, no box, the parts laying on it. There was NO PROFESSIONAL to inspect it and make sure it was ok, AS PROMISED WHEN PURCHASED. Just a truck driver who dropped it off in our driveway. The battery charger flashes red, so it is not charging the battery. Reset it dozens of time over a period of 12 hours and never got more than 37% charged. Spent hours on the phone trying to get assistance without avail. Finally found a Cub Cadet dealer nearby who was willing to look at it. That's where it is right now. Spent $3K for this mower and it's useless. Does not meet my expectations. Battery charger doesn't work and on an electric mower, that's critical fail. I want my money back.

    I would recommend this product if I had a nice smooth lawn. It is not as rugged as I had hoped. I have some lumpy areas. After a month of mowing on uneven terrain it stopped running. I'm not sure what went wrong because it is in the shop. It has been 3 weeks and still no idea when it will be repaired. The shop that I took it to is suppose to do warranty work but I'm beginning to believe they don't know what they are doing. There is nothing visibly wrong. The blade still spins but the mower does not go forward or backwards. Got it in March. Took it to the shop April 1st.

    Armrest
    CubCadet website lists this 2021 model comes with armrest. The photo may not show it but under the specification it says the seat has armrest. Not sure what is correct. The previous years model sold with armrest but not sure why 2021 not.

      100% Satisfied
      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the CC30e about a month ago after doing a lot of research on electric mowers. I have only used it once to cut about 1/4 acre lawn. I do have some hilly areas, about 8% slope, and the mower had no problem climbing up the slope. Cut was perfect with the mulcher. Finished cutting in about 20-30 minute (didn't really time my self) and only used 40% of the battery capacity. Mower performed flawlessly.

        Cub Cadet/ Home Depot Debacle
        I purchased a Cub Cadet electric riding lawn mower model CC30E from Home Depot store in Port St Lucie Florida for 2798.00. It was delivered within 10day, already assembled. First, it was delivered with no manual. Called the store, was told I would have to print manual. I wasn’t pleased the way it was related, asked to speak with store manager, he wasn’t in however asst. manager graciously helped me, within half hour, they found original manual and Picked up from store. I noticed that lawn mower model on Cub Cadet website had arm rests, however mine did not. Was told by Home Depot that they received them with no arm rests, and problem was with Cub Cadet. Cub Cadet claims it’s a ordering issue with Home Depot, and I can purchase arm rests from Cub Cadet at of course a fee... I feel spending almost 3000.00 something should have been done. No one from either cub Cadet or Home Depot had a answer. We are told to buy American and then American companies try and nickel and dime us... Very disappointed with both companies...
