Very Sharp Knives
They are very pretty and very sharp (be carful with kids), the 4.5-inch Steak Knives, are good for that (steak) but no to much for "soft" food as their serrated edge is very pronounced, and it smashers the food.

Nice knife set
For the money, this set has worked well for us so far. Knives are sharp and a good selection to choose from. 1 knife has a hook to the end which has proven useful for cutting vegetables and fruits with skin.
2 complaints so far would be that the bread knife is shorter than we are used to so it makes it a little more challenging to slice a thick loaf of bread, and also the angle of the holder is higher so we cannot have the block all the way back and still get the tall back knives out. It requires us to set the block forward off the wall; minor but poor design in my opinion since I feel our cupboards are a normal height above the counter.

Nice set of knives, not awkward to hold and these things cut with ease. Time will tell how well they hold up but definitely happy with my purchase of this set. Woulda loved having a few extra paring knives in it.

Great set of knives! (but...)
This is a great set of knives! However, I find that they rust if you do not wash and dry them immediately by hand, which is a bit of a pain. Nevertheless, I love the look and feel of them, and they came super sharp. Shipping was also fast, which was great!

Great Knife Set
We got these as a wedding gift and so far we really like them. They look great, come with a good variety of blade types and a sharpener. They work really well, the only downside is one of the knives is already starting to get rust spots on the handle. Other than that we thoroughly enjoy this knife set

Totally wonderful knife set
Love this knife set! Have been using it for 3 weeks now. Balanced, sharp and the textured handles make it a lot easier if hands get damp handling damp lettuce, cucumbers, etc. Have all the sizes you need. Plus the steak knives are great too!

Buy something else.
Extremely cheap. Steak knives are worthless. Most of the knives were scratched on arrival. The feet on the block were skewed, so the block wobbles, and the paint on the block comes off when putting knives back in the block. Will never buy Cuisinart knives again.

Worth it
So glad I came across these knives. Besides matching perfectly in my kitchen, it gets the job done! Used it for Thanksgiving meal prep and was impressed. Durable and sharp! Deserves 10 stars.

Good but not great.
The big knives are really sleek and sharp. The steak knive handles are small and narrow. I'm not a fan that they have ridges as the other Cuisinart set i had did not have ridges on the steak knives.
