Perfect toast comes from this toaster. I am so glad I bought it.

The new toaster is not made nearly as well as our old Cusinart toaster. It's flimsy and feels as if it will break when you pick it up. It does make good toast, etc. but we hope it doesn't just fall apart . The old toaster had some burned out elements; wish we had seen if we could have had it fixed.

The toaster is very nice looking. The dials are very helpful to adjust the desired degree of color.

Absolutely great toaster with the 1/2 slot to toast one side of bread. This is the best toaster I've owned. Really like the easy to read settings.

Does what a toaster should do. The best feature by far is the Bagel button. Somehow it comes up with a perfect toasted outside and soft inside. Such a great feature.

The knobs to change the settings are flimsy and move to easily. I had another cuisinart toaster that had a lever but couldn't find it. Disappointed.

I have the same toaster at a summer home I own. This toaster was purchased for my primary residence. The settings seem "off." I set the dial on the same number I am accustomed to and the food in the toaster nearly burns. I have had to throw away bagels and slices of bread as a result. I have to set the dial much lower than on the other toaster.

If only the "pop up" was just a bit louder. Sounds funny to want anything to be louder but when your toast is done, and you don't know it and it's no longer warm it just not good. Otherwise, we are VERY pleased with this toaster! So almost 5 stars.....

I replaced this same model. My old one worked perfectly for many years. The new one doesn't toast evenly. It is much slower as well. It is also extremely hard to get the buttons to stay down to actually begin the toast process.

Great toaster overall. This one replaced the Cuisinart toaster I’d had for almost 20 years. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star rating is that the control knobs have a bit of play in them.

Had to request a replacement under warranty. This is a good toaster, replacing old toaster with same model. Just happened to get one that needed a tune up!

This model is useless. Simply put, it does not work. At all. The levers stay down stay down 60% of the time. The knobs do not even feel like they are connected to anything. I had a previous model from 17 years ago that was great. This new generation is so poorly made that I have to conclude that all Cuisinart products have grossly declined in quality of parts. Sad.

This replaces a toaster we had for about twenty years...and it does not stack up. It does make pretty good toast with regular bread, but as far as I can tell the "bagel" setting doesn't do anything. A bagel should be toasted on the cut surface only...well this toaster treats bagels as any other slice of bread. Not that we have bagels every day, but often enough that this is a big failure. We never use the "frozen" or "reheat" settings so can't comment on these. Pretty sure we will end up returning the toaster.

Looks better than it operates. The push-down controls have to be pushed down several times before they stay down. One side doesn’t always toast properly.

Works great, sometimes the mechanism takes a few times to catch and keep the bread down.

Love this toaster, have another one in our beach house. Been working for several years now with no issues. I don’t mind paying a little extra as it lasts! Other cheaper toasters I have learned by experience don’t last longer than 8-10 months if used repeatedly as we do. I Always reach for Cuisinart because I know it will work well and long.

This toaster has been easy to use from the beginning. We unboxed and used immediately. My entire family is pleased with the ease of operation and will recommend to anyone who enjoys a lot of toast and bagels daily. It was definitely worth the purchase!

Attractive design and it has features we wanted- bagel, reheat, defrost, and cancel. It toasts evenly. My ownly improvement would be to have access to the crumb trays from the front instead of the back.

Not the same Cusianart I bought about 3 years ago. Replaced that one with the new one. So disappointed. Did not toast the same, bigger learning curve on desired toast color outcome setting. Waited for little noise indicating it was finished toasting! Little spring ping was pretty much inaudible if you had another minor noise going on. Cannot wait for two years to buy something else.

Not a nuanced dial. Have to turn it almost all the way up to toast at all and just a bit more burns it. I end up pushing the lever multiple times rather than turning up the dial. I suppose it ultimately generates toast.

It is not as sturdy & heavy as I expected. Great feature to be able to adjust each 2 slot to a different setting. My husband prefers his toast darker than me.

This toaster replaced the same model that stopped putting one side down to toast; unfortunately I'm getting ready to contact cuisinart to complain because this replacement is starting to do the same thing

Knobs are cheaply assembled. Not gradient. Imo it seems low quality manufactured.

Ordinary quality. Feels cheap. Dials easily knocked off intended setting.
