I like this size, in the past I have had a 2 cup and 4 cup and the 3 cup is perfect. However the plastic around the blade has a tendency to crack and to replace The blade is almost as much as buying another one. They are not built to last very long 😞

It’s just the right size processor for those smaller jobs. Easy clean up and storage.

I've had this product for a long time and have bought 1/2 handful over the years. I do like the simplicity of buttons, easy to wash and perfect for small volume. The BIGGEST negative is any liquid spurts out of lid every single time. At first I thought it was just my 'old machine' but with every purchase it's the same thing. Once this one no longer works anymore I think it's time to move on to a different brand for same size just for this one negative. Again, great for non-liquid items.

Upon a recommendation from Wirecutter, we bought the Kitchenaid version. Don’t do that. Its two-part locking lid made it very hard to turn the thing on. You’ll see this problem noted if you look at its reviews thoroughly. The Cuisinart is powerful and easy to use. We should have purchased it the first time.

This mini food processor is so easy to use and really cuts down on time preparing your meals. Chopping garlic or onions is a breeze with this little machine. Clean up is a breeze as well… you won’t regret this purchase!

This mini prep is very useful in the kitchen. I use it to chop onions, Mince garlic, etc. Happy with the way it works

My original mini-prep stopped working after many years of good use. I was satisfied with its performance so I decided to replace it with the newer model. It works just fine and is much more user friendly when attaching the lid to operate. Performance is the same as older model. As mentioned in some other reviews - it is lighter in weight than the older model. I did need to hold it in place while using - the reason for 4 stars. Other than that - I expect to get many years of service again. It’s always been a staple in my food prep. Although I looked at other manufacturers, I still came back to a brand I trusted.

This is well designed. It is easy to clean and chops everything to the desired size in a couple of seconds. I have nerve damage in my hands and it is very difficult to use a knife. This has become one of the most important tools in my kitchen. I've made salads, egg salad, coleslaw, potato salad and even chopped meat. I just spray a bit of cooking spray and it is easy to empty and clean. It is so powerful I have to be careful how many times I pulse it or the food turns into baby food. This is the perfect size for someone who lives alone, but it would also be perfect for anyone who just needs smaller portions. Overall I could not be happier with this processor.

Got this little guy as a replacement for a larger one I’ve had for years that was retired after an incident with a date pit. Large enough to make my chocolate dates and walnut recipe, but I found I have to hold it steady while in the grind mode. Cleans up and reassembles easily.

Great product to use for those small amounts of ingredients

It's small, (not too small) takes up very little counter space and it's great ! Does want it says it does, couldn't have asked for a better Processor. Love it ! !

Small and Powerful. I have replaced my larger version with the smaller. I truly like it. It does only hold 3 cups so be careful.

Love this product because it is easy to store and chops and blends just enough for two people. Easy to clean. I use it almost daily

Fingers crossed this one lasts longer than its more expensive siblings. After have the blade break on the more expensive version, twice, and knowing how much they cost to replace, I decided to try this more affordable version to see if it will last any longer (or at least the same)

This is our second Mini Prep. We have our first Mini Prep it is 20 years old. The blades broke. We use it weekly. So get a new one.

Cheap plastic. Noisy and feels like junk. Used a couple of times and returned it. Don’t buy!

Easy to use and clean. I now make tasty sauces and creamy soups and stews

According to many folks, I make excellent chicken salad and this mini processor grinds and chops to perfection. Not to chunky but perfectly smooth giving it a creamy texture. The grind function is all I need to get the chicken perfect making it easy to spread. It is my favorite kitchen companion. Try it and you will not be disappointed!

It good doesn’t really chop the way I needed could use different tools

It works well, if you do not over fill it. A large onion is too much for it all at once, but in two rounds it works well.

Small unit, seems to have a lot of power, have only used it to chop instructions say not to overload it so only put small amounts at a time, does a good job

Little power house, efficiently chops and minces to the degree I’m looking for with the ingredients my recipes call for.

Perfect for small jobs. This dices and chops so quickly, and cleanup is a breeze since it's light. There are only 3 pieces to clean. I reach for this often!

Compact and p0werful additio to my kitchen toolset

Works well for making small batch sauces and grinding spices. I think it need more rpm, though.
