Didn’t work very well so I returned it.

It fits the drain well but does have some drainage when tub is full. Also when full tub is draining it tends to close.

It restricts water from going down the drain even when it's in the open(up) position.

Not sure what kind of drain this works in, the rubber part sits too high, needs too be shorter too work in all drains.

This catcher did not fit in the drain properly. It was too high.

This DANCO 2-in-1 Bathtub Hair Catcher and Stopper thing did not meet our needs. We have been using two separate items in our tub for a while. When the original lift and turn drain "crosshairs" gave out, we bought a universal rubber stopper. Effective but could be a pain to wedge in for a good seal. Trying to remove it after the chain ripped out could be a chore as well. The wife picked up a flower looking tub hair catcher/strainer when the kids outgrew bath time. Unfortunately , the would just kicked it out of the way and let the Wookies congregate in the p-trap. I saw this on the shelf and gave it a go. If it could do what both of our current stoppers/strainers were doing, it would be worth a shot. After awkwardly manipulating it into the drain, it does not seat well enough to hold for a bath. When popping it up as a strainer, it did not drain fast enough for a shower. This may be an excellent product but it did not work very well for us. It may have been user error on our part but I discovered all 4 members of my household eventually sat this thing on the shelf and went back to the old ways.

This item was self installed by just placing into the drain. There was no extra steps and it holds the water in and catches the length and hair.

Returned, it didn't fit

This works really great at catching hair. Before it just went down the drain since there was no screen to catch it.
