Needed to replace my Delta shower handle. This fit securely...
Needed to replace my Delta shower handle. This fit securely however it left a half inch gap between the handle and the hardware on the shower wall. Will be returning to the store.

It is not 100% universal replacement for American Standard. It did not fit over the existing piece as the bracket was too small. I had to modify the installation to make it work.

This product is so poorly engineered that is literally does not work - I will be returning it. The set screw is a few millimeters too short, making it so you can not properly attach it to my delta valve cartridge
