Good.... but....
It is a good kit for the money. However, if you are going to spend this much on a generator, why would you use conventional motor oil? As for the Stabil additive, the directions on all generators state not to leave gas in the tank. So why the Stabil? Actually, the cords are what you are buying, and at that it is a very good deal, especially the wye cord. 6 outlets is great if you are a contractor working out at the site or even a DIYer working on a project.

Well worth the price.
The 25' cable and Y-splitter that gives 110v from the 220v cable would cost more on their own. Two quarts of oil, a funnel and a couple of packets of fuel stabilizer round out the package. If you are getting a new generator (as I did) it's a good place to start.

Everything needed in one box!
This was suggested online at Home Depot when I purchased the Generator. I bought it and I am very glad I did. It came with everything needed to get started with the Generator and to keep it running in good condition. Highly recommended and a big savings from buying the pieces separately.

Just what I needed.
My generator has only one 110volt outlet, but has a twist lock 220 volt. The Y cord splits this outlet into 6 110 volt outlets. Now I can power many things. The cords are heavy duty.

I recommend this product
This is an excellent kit to buy. the only improvement would be that the provided cable should have two male endings instead of one male and one female. But this can easily be corrected. Overall I was happy with my purchase.

DEK Universal Generator Accessory Kit
This kit is OK. The only problem I had, was the funnel, which is too short. The other stuff; extension cable, oil, cover is good.

Product Cost is Great
the quality of the material is good. The value of the purchase is very good. Purchased separately, the cost will far exceed what the package cost.

Everything you'll need to get up and running!
This kit has all the items necessary to keep your generator running efficiently. A real savings- sold separately, the items included in this kit would cost considerably more.

It was a good buy with the generator
This helped with the installation of the generator. The ease of use and the timely delivery. It was here when they said it would be.

Everything you need...
This is a good combination of useful items for a generator. The 25-ft cable would make up 3/4 of the price if bought separately, and the Y-cable splitter is perfect. I was able to run the cable in through a window and use the splitter to plug in more than I expected. There is extra oil (and a funnel even) to change in the generator for after every 100 hours of use, so I'm good for 300 hours so far, plus fuel stabilizer if you're going to use your generator in damp weather. The included cover is ground-length, has velcro at the bottom to hold it together in the wind and has an opening to put the handle(s) of your generator through, so you can bring it out even when raining. Overall, I'm very pleased with the kit.

Product arrived well-packed with all parts.
Product has good auxilliary pieces to augment use of the generator. It was well-packaged against damage and contained products (i.e., oil and fuel stabilizer) that will be used over time and replenished as needed. I would recommend that this product be included with offerings to those purchasing a basic generator.

Quality product for home generator power distribution.
Product arrived in timely manner and as advertised. The 3 ft Y-adapter is particularly useful for power distribution.

Nice setup to get you going; decent price
Well made cord, wye, and cover to help get things started with generator connections etc. The generator I bought came with a 15' cable and 240/120v end, and since I needed to use its 1 240V connection it turned out the "wye" splitter was not very useful. It uses the 240V combo plug to split into 120V outlets only; would have been nice if it included a 240V socket too. But it will be a good backup. The cover fit my Stanley 5000w gen well. The oil and Stabil are just enough for about 5 gallons to get you started but you will probably need to buy more.
