So you can plug it in OR you can run it off the interchangeable batteries. Why wouldnt you make this device a battery charger as well? What a lost opportunity

Bought the dcb205 three weeks ago. Used once on a dewalt flashlight. The battery suddenly completely died and does not charge.

These batteries are awesome, and they hold a charge for a very long time. I’m not a contractor, but use these weekly and no issues. I own four and haven’t charged some of them for over a year. I will say, check the date codes on top of the batteries before buying, and be sure you’re buying 2022 and up. The DeWalt rapid charger is worth considering too for faster charging. The only con is that they are larger than a 5.0ah battery, which can make a smaller tool more bulky or cumbersome.

Only work for two weeks brand new sealed, used un drill impact 1/4 hex, diferent Chargers and no ligth, gauge only blink

Bought this battery back in November and all was good until it stopped working/charging and I’m very disappointed. I don’t know why it stopped working if I took very good care it.

without fans or any type of cooling solutions. This fan with a 6ah XR will last me 12 hours effortlessly

Have two batteries… both get hot and stop working, takes to long to trim around my house 10min at a time

Used daily for commercial electrician work. Everything works the way it should. The 20v is definitely more powerful than the 18v and lasts longer.

Why are there differences in battery design DEWalt? The top battery is the spare purchased to go along with the DCD791 drill. The battery does not charge on the charger that came with the drill, it does not seat properly on the charger. There are differences in the pin config that is hard to get pic on in the package. The slots are all connected where the other one they are broken out to 6 independent slots in the middle. HD and Amazon, same issue with their supply. Might work on the tools, but what’s the point if you can’t charge it.

This Dewalt saw is great for the small jobs I use it for, cutting trim boards and PVC pipes. The balance is just right for one handed use. The the size is perfect and power is sufficient for cutting branches near a chain link fence where a chainsaw can't be used. It is light enough even with the battery not to tire out my arms in overhead use. A great addition to my Dewalt tool collection.

Be careful when purchasing this battery. I purchased with the Dewalt DCD791P1 (Brushless XR 20v drill/driver). This battery was listed on HD's site as option. The battery has the same model number as the battery that came with the drill, but did not seat properly on the charger and lock in place. The pin design on this battery was different than the battery that came with the drill. It would not charge at all because the design differences. Date codes on both drill battery and this battery were both 2020. The drill battery has a set of 6 independent slots for the pins in the middle (picture). The battery that HD had for this one has 5 taller slots like the 2 outer ones in my picture. Another indicator is the black piece in the grooved area. Battery supplied with drill is as shown, but the battery I received was all yellow.

Yes it’s excellent to use, my wife was cutting some limbs out side our fenced in yard, with a handsaw I saw she was struggling so I plugged in 3 extension cords and she used our Milwaukee saw saw I saw this on line, bought some Diablo blades got then as well she like the light weight and the fact she can flip the blade. So she claimed it as hers. I use it for tight areas I can’t get to using my larger Milwaukee

This fan far exceeds all of the other top rated fans no question! I train K9’s and need an extra boost of cooling for them after a hard training, this is the ticket! Don’t even bother with others, seriously. Start with the best, Dewalt!

Love the added power and endurance of the batteries.

I received my two 5Ah batteries and tried to charge them. 1 would never take a charge and was dead on arrival. The other took a partial charge and ran one of my tools for about 4-5 minutes. After that it would not take a charge. I could maybe understand 1 failure, but 2 for 2 means a big design or manufacturing problem (both?) for DeWalt. I tried 2 different DeWalt chargers.

This is really handy to hang on my metal garage shelves using the built-in hanging brackets. It's easily maneuverable and nice and heavy when sat on the floor. The knob is sturdy and makes it easy to operate. I'd give 5 stars if the fan was a LITTLE bit stronger on high, but all around I'm very pleased. Great for easily drying plumbing leaks!

I Love it !!! I use this fan as a dual duty device on the jobs I work and in my vehicle [No A/C], It works and runs great for hours.

Put my drill battery on it and it fired right up! Can adjust the speed as desired. Good product so far.

Very surprised how much air this puts out. I move around quite a bit at work and needed something portable. This met my needs perfectly.
