I ordered this package to be delivered, a package that was tattered and retaped, relabeled by fedex was delivered to my home, 1 day late mind you. I opened the box to find someone else’s order. I call HD , i was told to contact fedex. So when is it the responsibility of the customer to track a package, because Home Depot\FedEx can’t complete the order, delivery correctly. I call fedex , customer service rep Adele says oh no .. you need to call HomeDepot!! Really…

I did not get the box of nails, 18 gauge that was supposed to come with this delivery

Not Happy with how the delivery team handle it. It showed up with a gouge in the box So you could see the compressor through the box before it was even opened. It showed up Scratched, damaged, and dented. I have pictures if you could please reach out to me.

This 6 Gal. 18-Gauge Brad Nailer and Heavy-Duty Pancake Electric Air Compressor Combo Kit is my husband bestfriend’s since he is a contractor. It’s compact, reliable and you can use multiple framing nailers with it. It’s easy to operate and have enough capacity to run multiple nail guns at the same time! Great value for money and worth it. This is a definitely must-have!

I was at the Home Depot in Elmwood Louisiana looking for a brad nailer. I saw the battery powered brad nailer for $240 online and just completely looked away, but then out of the corner out of my eye I saw this air compressor and pneumatic Brad nailer sitting on the shelf for $219 at the Harahan store in Elmwood in Louisiana and I said send the fact that I can have some projects coming up. I can’t beat that. So end it went to the basket, and off I went.

I am sure this would be a great product, but this is how it arrived.

For its price point ($179 on sale), this is a great bundle. Compressor is light, so portable, but also powerful for its size at 165psi. Others complained that despite two air connectors that there is only one pressure gauge - definitely no big deal for me since I most often use just one connector at a time. In the event I use both the odds are that the two pneumatic tools can utilize the same psi. The regulator is as easy as it gets, merely turn knob to desired psi. Compressor is typical in terms of noise with typical vibration. Also, the hose from the tank to the air receptacles on the tank was not kinked liked others said. Only time will tell, but given the Dewalt branding I expect to be durable. The included brad nailer is great - again, particularly for the bundle price. Pinpoint accurate and did not jam. Holds nails up to 2.25” which is flexible. The included air hose (25’) was the biggest surprise. Nice hose, actually used instead of my existing 50’ Coleman rubber hose. Included hose lies flat, does not twist and has a 300psi burst point. In summary, this is a very good bundle for the price. Great for DIYers and small/medium duty professionals. I am very pleased with purchase.

Overall fit for purpose compressor with a decent value for the bundle, however not impressed with the manufacturing/design quality. Hose connection from tank to pressure valve/regulator is kinked. Wonder if this is the standard assembly now. Very disappointing DeWalt... you are better than this.

Dewalt used to sell a pancake compressor with brad nailer combo kit that had better features than this one, even though the price remained the same. Main issues are: (1) regulator pressure gauge no longer exisists. It has been replaced with a cheap turn knob, (2) the brad nailer no longer has a swivel air fitting, even though the pictures appear to show that it does. The swivel fitting was included on the previous design, (3) the hose is no longer 50ft. It is now a 25ft. The description on the HD website says it should be 50 ft, but it’s a 25 ft in the box. I’m disappointed in my first DeWalt purchase, especially after knowing they have a good reputation of building quality tools with premium feautures and materials. This combo kit does not set it apart from other brands that offer similar or better features at a lower price point. DeWalt clearly redesigned this kit to lower their costs, but those savings did not reach the customers.

I ha djust purchased the nail gun a couple weeks ago and already had nails. Thr trim job I was doing expanded to the next room so needed more nails and purchased these. They worked fine, I'll recommend this product

Once I got myself familiar with this compressor and nail gun, they are very easy to use and quite capable of many tasks around the house. If you are not familiar with using an air compressor and nail gun, the initial setup can be a bit challenging - especially if you are cautious. Although I read through the compressor setup and usage a few times, I found it lacking for a novice. I went searching online for an overview - and fortunately found one that allowed me to feel a lot more confident in using the compressor. It would be good for Dewalt to produce and reference a beginner’s video, thereby keeping their printing costs down but helping a novice use this equipment. The nail gun documentation is good with the exceptions of nail loading and depth of nail head insertion, which I found to be odd. Again, I was a novice with this tool, so I struggled with this step. This could be quickly and easily addressed in their existing documentation. Once I successfully loaded the nail gun, it was very safe and easy to use and my first project was re-securing the back of a book shelf to the unit. That was a piece of cake.

I chose the Dewalt 6-gallon, pancake-style compressor to replace a small, inefficient 1-gallon unit I have used for several years. The extra capacity in this model is evident when you start using your tools; I now have full pressure for a longer work period before the pump has to kick on to supply more air. It is very sturdy with rubber feet on the bottom to keep it in place yet it is still light enough to be moved where needed by the comfortable handle. Getting the included brad nailer was a bonus since I have an upcoming project with lots of trim to install. The magazine capacity for this nailer is 100, 18-gauge fasteners ranging between 5/8-inch up to 2-1/8-inch long. This lightweight tool (2.6 pounds) has an adjustable depth setting to allow the fasteners to be set flush with the finished surface or slightly recessed and/or can be set to bump/contact action for rapid nailing on flat surfaces. Should a fastener become jammed in the nose piece, just flip open the latch on the nose door to remove. Lastly, I had to smile when I noticed that Dewalt has even included a pencil sharpener built into the belt hook.

I used this Dewalt 18-Gauge Brad Nailer and Pancake Compressor to replace the rotting painted wood brick mold around my shop door with plastic brick mold. I used 2" brads and the framing was about 12 year old wood - old wood is harder. I set the compressor output to 100 psi and every brad drove into the wood perfectly. The compressor pumped 3 minutes to go from 0 to 165 psi and lost back to 155 psi in one hour, but then it held 155 psi for over 24 hours. I like the easy to use valve on the bottom of the tank to drain any condensation. I estimate the air hose is about 25' long. The brad nailer is light and easy to use. The pancake compressor is also light and the giant handle on the top makes it a breeze to carry - even up stairs. My only complaint is that there is no carry case for the brad nailer (and your brads) included.

I knew I'd love this one before I ordered it. It's a great combination. Works perfectly and I even think it looks great too. Here's my breakdown: Hose: Male and female quick releases came installed and they work fine. The Hose is very flexible yet sturdy. It goes easily around corners and is easy to roll up. It doesn't have too much of a memory so it isn't a hassle to coil. Of course it has the signature yellow and black. Compressor: 6 gallons is a great size. It's heavy of course but my old one is a lot heavier. Great, thick rubber feet absorb the vibration to stop "walking" of the compressor and it reduces the vibration sound. It came with 2 QR's installed. It has a cord winder and a nice thick, handle to carry it. The pressure adjustment is the best I've ever used. It's extremely easy to use. just turn the knob to the pressure you need and go. No turning knobs and waiting for the pressure to drop. It has a simple 1/4 turn valve for air and moisture relief. Brad Nailer. Works easily and well. The release for jams is front and center and very easy to use. I really like the depth adjustment being so obvious and accessible. It's a yellow wheel just under the trigger. The belt clip is plastic and I'm afraid the first time I drop it, it'll break. It even has a built in pencil sharpener and a 7" rule below the magazine. I really like it but it's the amount of plastic on it that made me give it a 4 star on quality Overall it's a fantastic combo that you're going to like as much as I do.
