I bought this saw with the expectation that it could be extended to 15 feet but the longest it will it can be is approximately 10 feet,I contacted customer service and they confirmed that it is only 10 feet and they consider the person to be the other 5 feet this is very deceptive and i will shy away from Dewalt products in the future.

I bought this for a Christmas present so I am sure he will like it..

Extremely disappointed with the extension (middle pole) performance…bending during the first use. Dewalt replaced it; however, expect it may do the same on subsequent uses. Pleased with the performance otherwise.

20 volts isnt a lot but, it stops on every little branch and gets stuck. Have to restart a lot, not too impressed

I liked most everything about the saw, but felt that the handle should have had another connection so that we could have shortened the saw up even more for tight situations

I'm 83 years old still cut firewood with a 362 Stihl pro saw, and a Stihl 191 limbing saw. I usually trimmed lower hanging branches with the limbing saw from a ladder, However, after hip surgery last spring my wife outlawed me climbing a ladder. I've had one of those manual pruning saws for a long time but it is a pain to use and it will wear you out. Started shopping for a power trimmer, ran across the Dewalt pruner at a local box store, checked it out on line and discovered I could save a few bucks on it buy purchasing it without a battery, since I already had a 5mh battery with my 20 volt Dewalt impact driver. Wow, this trimmer is great. Battery life is good. Wear a helmet with a face shield if you have one, and tape the stupid second safety device down. I really like the three section pole, makes it easy to store, fits together with ease, with the battery installed it sort of counter balances the power head while you are trimming. If you need a power tool you can't go wrong with a Dewalt tool

Works as expected. Have only had it a few weeks. Surprised with the battery life. I wear out before it does.

Works great, cuts very aggressively. I used it for a few hours and still had half battery or more.

I love this tree trimming saw. I already have a bunch of DeWalt batteries so I just keep buying DeWalt stuff. Great stuff.

Used it today to trim trees and heavy vines etc. from our river bank.......Was easy to use and cut everything with ease small medium and larger branches..........I would estimate the run time for today's use was about 45 minutes and battery indicator was still well over half so appears the battery runtime is more than good...........the only thing I would say is a negative is the saw with the pole extension is of course heavy when using it fully extended out as I would expect so not so much a negative as a observation if you will..........I will be using it alot more for future trimming and most likely will purchase the hedge trimmer head to use as well.........

I had previously seen one used that a friend owned and was already impressed. Looking forward to spring to really start using it.

All good but the chain oil leakage. Have to empty the oil after every use. Cuts well and the battery lasts for many cuts.

Fast delivery charged the battery and filled the bar oil up, put it together took it out and cut some limbs I needed to take down worked perfect even up high. I sm 6'2" along with the 15 ft pole saw I could reach pretty high without a ladder.
