Had to buy a battery for a DeWalt shop fan and decided to buy the battery/charger package. Charger and battery works well and provides a fairly quick recharge of the battery. The charger also works for similar DeWalt batteries.

compact battery starter kit
I ordered this online pick it up at store ,, when i got home it was already opened ,, not happy about that,, this the first time it happened,, I guess check everything before leaving the store,, my only concern is did someone swap the batteries

Average at best
I had no idea what to expect from this battery but I am happy with it. It works well with a regular drill, and even with an impact drill for around the house projects, and even light professional use. However I would not rely on this for heavy use for example on a angle grinder or any other demanding tool like a circular saw. Power is great but will not last more than 20-30 mins on those demanding tools.

Jeff was so knowledgeable and when I couldn’t get the battery in I went back and he showed me and had me try myself until I did it several times successfully. Really a great guy.
