bought it to complete a paulk workbench project, and thats how long it lasted. by the time i got done drilling 230 holes in half inch plywood, it was dull enough to have problems cutting through cardboard. if you need a temporary bit that will see infrequent use its good enoug. if you want something to go back to for years dont bother.

I needed to drill a 2" hole in a finished desktop and this fit the bill. It cut the hole cleanly without any extra marking on the tabletop and easily cut through the pine. The exit was in thin material like luan and this was much more problematic. Had I taped the exit hole before drilling it I might have had a better outcome. Does a great job on hard or soft wood however.

I am a novice wood worker who is learning about cabinet building. I wanted to use European hinges for my second cabinet building experience but needed a tool/jig to create the 35 mm circular hole in the cabinet door to install the hinges. This Forstner bit was exactly what I needed. Used in my drill press, it worked perfectly for me. It was very reasonably priced and produced high quality results to meet my needs.

Needed a drill bit to square off the end of my turning woods and drill pocket holes in some cedar. Works great for the pocket holes. Works great to square off the end of some Manzanita limbs to prepare them for turning stock in my lathe. The guide tip of the bit makes a great pilot hole for my thru drill bit. Sharp, durable & runs true in my drill press.

Great bit really hogs out the wood

This bit was used to make bench dog holes and worked perfectly. The holes were very clean and easy to drill.

Works great for me. Using it to cut holes in soft balsa wood.

It cuts through pine like butter. No surprise there I suppose.

We are happy with this drill bit. We were cutting into a piece of molding that was only about 1.5 inches thick and needed a drill bit that did not have a long pointy screw section going in far ahead of the actual cylinder cut. This fit the requirements perfectly.
