The duct cleaning tool broke within minutes! The 10 ft shaft does not work in straight or flex ducts. NOT recommended!

All the components work as designed to do so. The vacuum attachment is useful reaching behind the lint filter. The conical brush does a good job reaching under the dryer, refrigerator, furniture, ...etc. The round brush: The cable that is attached to the brush does not straighten out completely, so this is a challenge; reading that the round brush may break off the cable, I was careful with it, attached a steel fish tape (Klein Tools Wide Steel Fish Tape Model 56335) to the cable and pulled the brush through the dryer vent pipe several times. The dryer was turned on "Air dry" to blow out the lint pieces. So, the kit, although not perfect, works OK.

I fed the 10' bristle up the dryer vent, hit a tough spot, turned by hand about 2 revolutions and it snapped off, had to feed a wire coat hanger to fish it out. Thanks China

Vent cleaner rod is plastic with no flexibility at all.

Difficult to get fed through dryer hose and the end needs to be secured better than just glued on but overall for the price I’d recommend it

Broke within 10 seconds, will not return since other attachments are things I need. Go with rods that screw in each other and not a long wound piece

Works good coupled to a drill, too hard to run it through by hand.

The dryer cleaner with the brissels broke inside the wall.. it was not a study plastic.

Easy to use. I use mine with a wet/dry shop vac, w ok works well

This prompt to review this product was quite timely as I just pulled it out of the box for the first time a few hours ago to use it. I have only used the brush meant for the vents. The plastic handle broke off at the end (maybe 5 inches) as I was unwinding it. The handle is not a very flexible plastic. And since the previous owners of my new house don't appear to have cleaned the vent in a while, the brush didn't get very far. I was concerned about the handle snapping and the brush getting stuck, so I didn't force it too much. Because my venting is in a crawl space, I had high hopes for this product. I still have some hope for the dryer lint brush when it gets used, but I wouldn't have paid $15 for just that brush even if it turns out amazing. Going to have to suck it up, get in the crawl space, and give the vent a good manual cleaning (i.e. take the vent apart and reach in to pull out clumps). Perhaps this product will work better for regular maintenance after the vent is cleaned, but with how brittle the handle seems to be, not sure I'd risk using it anyway.

The brush use for the vent is poorly made. When using it in the vent the brush broke off in the vent.

The brush to clear the vent to the roof could have been a little stiffer to make it past about 7-8ft, but I mad it work fishing from the bottom and the roof.

worked well for cleaning up the duct would recommend everyone clean those ducts

The tools in the kit are quality enough to last probably my lifetime. I was able to clean out everything from dryer all the way out of my house and dry time has gone way down. Clothes come out of the dryer before the next load of wash is done, which hasn’t been the case for a while. We’ll probably make up the cost of the kit in a few months of energy savings.

The cleaning brush included was bent to the point I can not use it for it's intended purpose, very disappointed in this purchase. The product's maker should consider using a box large enough to not damage their products before it gets to the consumer.
