Customer Reviews for Daylily Nursery 4 in. Pot Phenominal Lavender Plant

The lavender plants arrived quickly. They are healthy and I planted them right away. Now after 3-4 weeks they are still doing well.

Unfortunately, the plant is already dead. I have many plants and this one is the only one that did not survive. Very disappointed. I have always wanted a lavender plant and was looking forward to enjoying it. But, so soon after receiving it, it died.

My lavender came dead with dry leaves. I tried fertilizing it and keeping it watered, but still no signs of life

It died within a week despite me following all the instructions.

This lavender plant was dry by the time I received it. I planted it, but it is dry even though the soil is moist. It is useless.

Needed to return plant was not healthy.

It was horrible a waste of money. First bad experience with home depot ever.

the plant was practically dead on arrival, and they were not in pots, they were all 6 packaged in plastic wrap individually. They were not at all what i expected from Home Depot, even though they came from Daylily Nursery. I don't plan to purchase plants online in the future only in person.

Why are Home Depot plants not up to par! They die as soon as you take them out of the box.

Arrived in good condition, but died 2 days later

I have purchase other plants on Home Depot that we’re packed great. These came in a regular box with a few scissor jabs to the side of the box for air holes, they had seran wrap wrapped around the dirt area tightly so the dirt didn’t fall out. They looked like crap when we got them out, we tried planting them anyway, but they shriveled up and died.

I purchased 10 lavender plants. I am an avid gardener and have some experience growing lavender. I gave them the conditions that they like, and it seems that only 3 out of 10 will make it. I know that there is always a chance that a few plants won’t do well, but in all my gardening experience this is the first time that 70% of my purchased plants are not doing well. Very disappointing purchase.

Plant died

The product was undersized, one of the plants was dead when it arrived which doesn’t matter that much nor since every single plant does within a week of being received. These are the features that stood out the most to me, I didn’t like the fact that all 5 plants died within a week and that there was nobody to call and complain to or get a refund from . NO this order did not meet expectations

Ordered 10 lavender plants which arrived beautifully packaged and very much as expected. Condition looked very good. However, there were no instructions included in the packaging which I think is the big problem. After searching the web the consensus appeared to be do not under any circumstances give these plants too much water but lots of sun. It was 3 days before I could plant but figured as they had been grown in these pots they could live in them for 3 more days. The soil appeared damp so I set them where they would get sun for about 12 hours a day and kept an eye on the moisture but on the dry side. By the time I planted them most of green had left the leaves and gone grey (some leaves were like this on arrival). The soil in the pot was very dry at this point. I planted all 10 and have been watering mixed. 3 of the plants every day for 6 minutes. The other 7 every other day for 3 minutes. They all appear at this point (4 weeks planted) to be totally dead!

Everyone of my 8 lavender plants died ! ! !
