NOT 144" (max is 120")
This does NOT telescope to 144" but only to 120." It's also a bit flimsy and handyman had to drill end of one set of rods and throw a few dowels inside to keep it strong enough to hold velvet drapes when closed (vs it sagging or coming off rails). It does the job with these adjustments but don't expect these to be wide enough to hand drapes on the sides of any extra wide sliding glass doors look expansive.

Sturdy, simple, and well designed
I’ve been looking for a drapery rod set that is design to hold thick drapes/curtains and the design of this is exactly what I’m looking for. Along with the design, my pets laying and tugging the drapes/curtains does not cause the rods or the mounts to bend. Definitely will buy again in the future
