It’s not cast iron it’s tin and plastic

This product fit my space perfectly and looks amazing. It's not in an extremely high traffic area, but the material seems to be able to withstand any foot traffic.

Easy to install and better to look at. Just what we were looking for

The grate is advertised as made of "cast-iron." It is simply stamped metal with plastic louvers beneath the grate, the louvers cut-back or turn-off heat flow. Again, it is not cast-iron.

Not as expected. Photo showed the grille cover which is what I wanted; I did not want the flange so I had to return to store. Image online was misleading. Otherwise, product was "OK." Would have preferred a heavier weight more vintage-like product. This is cheap steel from China.

Beautiful looking, but inside grate is plastic, and adjusting the flow of heat is not easy. Also, not available in some sizes I need to match other registers.
