This is a good grab bar for us because the angle allows two heights to use. Really helps having both levels. Great look & comfortable grip.

Well made with great looking and smooth to the touch metal. These are easily installed beside the toilet or even on stairs where you may need a hand hold. This style is great for an application where you can locate the studs in the walls, like over drywall or tile. If installing onto a tub or shower enclosure you will need to purchase an expansion nut for the backside to distribute the weight on the bar. Since these only come with one lag bolt to anchor to the stud.

Installing a grab bar was an after thought to our master bath remodel - but a very important one. The tub and shower surround we installed in our master bath is beautiful - sleek and SLIPPERY. We love it but stepping into and out of a deeper tub onto slippery surfaces was a concern for me. I'm shorter and that initial step is an unstable one. We looked at a number of grab bars and decided on Delta's angled grab bar for several reasons. Installed on the back wall of the tub surround the horizontal portion is handy in getting up out of the tub water and the angled portion is handy to step into the tub. Although the picture depicts a "round" bar the Delta grab bar actually has a thumb indent that runs the entire length of the grab bar. The 16 inch spacing between the mount posts makes it easy to anchor both post ends into studs. The brushed nickel metal complimented the brushed nickel shower/tub fixtures, it also aids in the "grab" especially with wet hands. Although most folks think of ADA compliant accessories for the elderly and disabled, this one isn't restricted to just those folks. I'm very happy we chose this fixture as added safety in our bath. The design and metal soften the grab bar and it blends well into the shower area. This grab bar can be placed vertically, horizontally or diagonally depending on your needs - at the entry to the shower or tub. To help facilitate entry and exit, install a grab bar vertically in front of the shower or tub. We liked the addition of the Delta grab bar in our Master bath so much, we decided to install in our guest walk in shower as well and positioned it just inside the glass door. I'm sure our guests will appreciate that added safety getting in and out of an unfamiliar shower. The Delta angled grab bar came with all installation hardware and clear easy to follow instructions. Install was a snap.

These ADA-Compliant Decorative Angled Grab Bars, in a Brushed Nickel finish are stylish and also a Space Saver in tight areas. The finish or surface provides a great non-slip grip, along with the contour of the bars. Together with a Electronic Stud Finder and Screw-gun these grab bars will provide years of comfort and support. Note the Mounting Brackets covered the fastener's nicely allowing for a clean finished surface, easy cleaning.

Delta's 16 in concealed screw ADA compliant decorative angled grab bar is well made. This grab bar is an exceptional addition to anyone's shower or bath. It was easy to install and fits in with current brushed nickel fixtures. It's design allows for easy adjustment to find the studs in the wall for a real sturdy installation, which is a plus for bathroom fixtures. This is the second Delta fixture I can say was built for the installer and the home owner. I would recommend this product for all who desire a little safety with style.

Very well made item. It being curved means it can be installed in just about any location. Has everything needed to install. Feels very nice to the hand, with one exception. The piece I ordered had a small burr on one of the seams, which was kind of dangerous, as it could have caused a cut on the hand. This was easy to clean up though, just a screw driver and file to take care of it. One thing I really like was the O-rings included to keep the water from going behind it.

After my walk-in bath re-do, I wanted to update my grab bar. But I wanted a grab bar that, well, doesn't LOOK like a grab bar -- so I opted for this attractive Delta Angled Grab Bar. This angled offering is stainless steel, and has a warm, brushed nickel finish that blends perfectly with nickel fixtures. The kit also includes snap-on covers, to conceal all the attaching hardware. Its design includes a smaller diameter "grab-able" grab bar with a channeled front -- perfect for your thumb, as you wrap your hand around the bar. In short, this design is perfect to ensure anyone can get a firm grip on the bar, regardless of age or gender. The bar is designed to be mounted primarily on studwork that is 16" on center, and Delta uses five-screw flanges to facilitate proper securing to your studwork. As long as one end is secured to studs, you can secure the other end with a wall anchor -- a piece of hardware you have to purchase separately. This grab bar is well built and extremely sturdy -- it will support up to 500 pounds, and comes with the Delta limited lifetime warranty. I only gave a four star rating due to the product lacking a wall anchor, something I feel should be included to facilitate a proper secure installation.

The 16 in. x 1-1/4 in. Concealed Screw ADA-Compliant Decorative Angled Grab Bar in Brushed Nickel is very nice. It can support up to 500 pounds. The brace isn't round like it looks in the picture, it is more of a rectangle and very comfortable to the grip. The finish is perfect. When installing be sure to attach it to studs. The brace looks great in my tub/shower. I will be adding another in my guest bath.

This product could not have been better. It is well-made but you must be certain that it is installed in a very secured area of the shower stall. Placing it in the location of being able to grab it to get in and out of the shower along with its angle to secure stability was ideal.

This is the BEST POSSIBLE Grab Bar because it has a rectangular cross-section instead of a round cross-section. NOTE: That although this rectangular cross-section is not apparent or discernible in the photograph, The rectangular shape makes it a much safer grab bar because your wet hand doesn't slip down as it always tends to do on a round cross-section grab bar. An analogy of the rectangular cross-section is to imagine the rectangular cross-section a small wooden match box, (but much larger) Another safety advantage of this grab bar is the fact that it is angled, so that no matter how you mount it, it's rectangular gripping surface is always in the right direction to give you firm hold to prevent falling in you wet shower or bath. I originally bought two of these grab bars 12 years ago strictly because in the store I could see the rectangular cross-section. Since that time, Home Depot has quit carrying the grab bar in their stores, so I recently found out that I could order another one via the Home Depot online method.

Very pleased with this product.

This is my second purchase of this item as an additional grab bar and it is not as pictured. The first looked like the picture but the new one has an odd groove going down the outside whereas the older model had the groove on the inside out of sight. Maybe it's safer this new version. Both are very high quality though so no complaints. Since they are in different rooms, the look doesn't really need to match.
