I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, Delta is just a far superior product in quality, style and pricing. I am so pleased with the new line of products Delta has been producing, they are the only products I will use in my bathrooms. The Delta SIMPLICITY 60 X 58-3/4 IN. FRAMELESS CONTEMPORARY SLIDING BATHTUB DOOR IN CHROME WITH MOZAIC GLASS is great! It has added such a modern yet simple look to my bathroom. It will go with any style of bathroom design. With easy to follow instructions and minimal pieces, installation is a breeze and can be done by the novice of Do It Yourself type people. But shouldn’t cost much to hire a handyman either. Depends where on the scale of handiness you fall. The stainless railing and handles match all the other Delta products I have in both my bathrooms now. The frosted mosaic pattern gives my bathroom a Semi modern yet 60’s-70’s sort of feel. It took me less than an hour to install, but have to be honest and say this is my 2nd one I have installed. The only difference is the glass pattern. The first one I installed took about 2- 2 1/2 hrs to install. Went slower. That particular glass pattern is what I call “rain glass” . Looks like it has bubbles and a little warped feel to it like its dripping. I’m very happy with both and look forward to what other new products Delta has to offer.

Let me start by saying this door assembly comes with excellent installation instructions. They are well written, easy to understand and have illustrations that make the installation easy with the proper hand tools. Make sure you have a good level available to make sure the components are installed in the proper orientation and the results will be very good. The quality of all of the components is first class. The finish on the frame components is excellent (chrome in this case). I have installed previous shower/tub doors, so it took be approximately 30-45 minutes total. I'd estimate about 60 minutes for the first timer. The glass in this case has a great pattern and with the water side has a special coating that helps keep the glass clean and makes it easier to clean when needed. Use of a squeegee after every use of the shower will keep the glass clean for a long time.

The bath tub doors are clean, the glass doors slide fine once properly installed and adjusted. It took me a half day to install paying careful attention to the bottom for leaks. I am very happy with how the install turned out. My advice would be to make sure you measure twice and make certain everything is square before starting to drill the holes. These shower doors roll with ease and have a heavy/sturdy feel.

The exposed rollers have an elegant appearance. Delta uses quality materials. Easy install instructions for a perfect fit. The frameless doors look great. I really love the look of the RAIN patterned glass. Install the side channels. Cut and install the bottom track. Cut and install the top rails, hang the doos, done. The ability to mix and match door hardware, finishes and glass texture choices give over 80 combinations. RAIN textured doors provides the privacy needed in a common use bathroom.

This is a beautiful change for our bathroom, The bronze really sets off the rest of the décor. The glass has a really cool almost frosted look that really adds a classy touch to the door set. The installation is straight forward but would suggest laying everything out and go over the steps until you understand what is required, if you feel confident then go for it. If not consult a professional as it may require drilling into porcelain tile. End result is worth every bit of effort & would not hesitate to do it again. The instructions spell every step out so it is easy to follow & results are as expected.

I like the look of this shower door. I bought the chrome finish with the rain glass door. We have had in for a couple of months. However, water splashes onto the floor every time we take a shower. We had a contractor put it in. The door would not close tightly with the plastic splash guards. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I do try to get reviews done right away but in this case it took a while to get things prepared to do our remodel of the bathroom. This product arrived undamaged and with all pieces shipped. I was impressed with the quality and the looks of the rain glass. My wife is not a fan of the glass but I am. The instructions were complete and made installation easy. I would recommend anyone doing a bathroom remodel to seriously consider this product.

I would recommend this bathtub door in nickel with rain glass. The nickel finish looks great! Nickel not only looks great, it is strong, also anti-corrosive, so it will never corrode. I have a set of shower doors, about 25 years old that is chrome, has lots of corrosion on it, which looks horrible. How I wish nickel would been available back then... I also have 2 brand new bathrooms with all nickel, that look great, won't corrode, which I LOVE. This rain glass is awesome, I think. I love the look! It is different, unique, instead of being identical to what everybody else has, makes me think I am in a spa. The glass is1/4" thick, tempered glass, so it is 4x stronger than regular glass. The glass is also coated for easier cleaning. I also like the tracking system, an improvement from the way these were previously made... so now the door slides like it is on rails, nice and smooth. This set also comes with a towel bar, which is nice. I like the idea of hanging a wet towel against glass vs. on a towel rack near my wall. This set is also made by Delta, which has LOTS of experience making great shower products.

I bought this tub shower door kit for my upstairs hallway bathroom to replace my existing shower curtain. The quality and finishes are excellent. The design and functionality are spot on. The kit came with everything to completely install. A few measurements, cuts and some anchors and installation was complete in just a few hours. I recommend a helper when installing the doors as they are a bit awkward to try to install by yourself. Instructions were detailed and easy to understand. Finished product it superb. Highly recommend product

I purchased this for our bathroom remodel. I'm so disappointed and frustrated with this purchase. It's beyond words. We have this beautiful remodeled bathroom with a shower door that leaks. I spent time reading reviews on tiles, vanity, toilet and other things but failed to thoroughly research this door. There were only a couple reviews on this finish. And they were all positive. Not sure how that's possible. However, looking at the reviews at the other finishes for the same door were really eye opening. Why does Delta continue to sell this knowing it's a bad design?? Our contractor installed the door and expressed concern with the fact that the bottom of the glass doors are higher than the top of the bottom track assembly and therefore water can leak out. Well, after our first shower with the new door, that was certainly the case. I called customer support and spoke about the reviews about leakage on this model. I wish I had seen them before I purchased. Delta asked for pictures of the installation and then rushed a shipment of two plastic water diverters (horizontal strips to glue onto the glass near the bottoms of the doors) to fix the problem. After attaching, we still have water leakage. Not as severe but enough that it soaks towels that we put on the floor. It's obviously a bad design with the bottom track. We really do not want to resort to putting a shower curtain inside, but that's what we will have to do. I would love to take it all down and return it. But, the cost and potential damage to our beautiful new tile makes it a depressing thought. This model should be discontinued. Please buyer beware.

I had this door professionally installed. Six months later my three year old closed it while sitting in the bathtub, it fell off the tracks and shattered all over him. For a door to come off of its track that easily is a safety hazard. He had tiny cuts all over him and was terrified but it could’ve been much worse. This is a serious design flaw.

Great product

Looks beautiful & easy to clean

This is a beautiful, high quality shower door. My wife love the design and feel of the glass. Also, the bronze finish on the hardware matches the rest of our fixtures. Installation was a bit challenging. Allow yourself at least 4 hours, or if you are not knowledgeable with basic carpentry skills, a full day may be required. Also, have a second hand close by to help you set the doors, as they are very heavy and you don't want to risk damaging them. Also, be sure and inspect all your parts immediately to make sure they included everything you need to complete the job. One other note I would add is that our bathtub is a one piece unit, and it is not quite tall enough for the height of the shower doors. I solved this problem by adding a piece of wood above the sides to bring it out even with the shower. No big deal, but just something to consider before you start the project.

Home Depot's web site is very misleading. I purchased this item believing the entire kit was included. I paid $365 for two glass 1/4 inch glass panes. The track and handles were not included even though the website suggests these items are included, even having me select the finish for the track, which I chose as Chrome. There's nothing chrome on the glass panes or rollers, so why would the site ask me to choose the finish unless the track and handles were included? It even list the Contemporary Style tracking system that is illustrated.

Was missing many parts

Only problem was that this came as an ense , I ended up using a different track and was not able to return the track at the store. But the glass is nice, it looks lovely.

A little Tricky to fit on the existing tub but excellent result.

After I spent several weekends trying to install these doors, I finally gave up and called customer service. I sent photos showing that the doors were about an inch too short. For three months I was told replacement parts were coming. I ultimately gave up and cut down the side frame to make it work. My other issue was that the doors came with no handles. The two boxes I received were labelled 1/3 and 2/3, which leads me to believe there should have been 3 boxes. I was told by the manufacturer they were not included, but at the time of purchase, I was not prompted in the ad to purchase them. I will never purchase anything from Simplicity ever again. Home Depot offered me the customer service telephone number, and when that failed, offered to return them. Unfortunately I had drilled holes in my new tiles in order to install them, so a return was not an option. I wish Home Depot had gone to bat for me and called on my behalf.

Because I have a small bathtub - only 4-1/2 feet long - the only option other than this product would have been a custom shower enclosure, which was prohibitively expensive, so I was stuck with this. Several previous reviewers mentioned that the assembly came damaged. This was true of mine, as well. In light of the previous reviews, I should have checked the assembly when it arrived, which was several weeks before my contractor was ready to install it. When I did send proof of the damage to Delta, they immediately sent a replacement; however, it was too late for me to use it. My biggest complaint with this product is that when it is properly assembled, the bottoms of the doors are higher than the top of the lip of the bottom track assembly and therefore water can escape over the lip. When I spoke with the company before I purchased the unit and mentioned that this problem was flagged by previous purchasers, they assured me that they had fixed the problem. That was not the case at all. After installing the shower door assembly and realizing that this was still a problem, I called Delta and they sent me two flexible plastic water diverters (horizontal strips to glue onto the glass near the bottoms of the doors) which they assured me would fix the problem. I have not attached them because I found a better solution: a rigid plastic bar that I was able to attach to the top of the vertical part of the bottom track assembly. It is virtually invisible and keeps all the water in. I have told the company's representatives twice that the way to fix the problem is to manufacture the vertical lip of the bottom track assembly so it is about 1/2" to 3/4" higher. They are as nice as can be, assure me that my concerns are being noted, and that the water diverters will fix the problem. I'm sure they find sending a penny-ante fix far more cost-effective than retooling their manufacturing, but they would have much happier customers if they made it right the first time. On the positive side, it is attractive and feels sturdy.

Really looks modern and sleek

Home Depot installed it it looks really beautiful the glass we chose is perfect so my daughters can have privacy in the shower and still be able to use the sink. The lip on the bottom where glass meets the tub is low and as long as you don’t shoot water directly into it Doesn’t drip over to floor

I will have to return this and try to get a refund for the installation as well (sigh). The shower leaks a lot of water from the bottom. I had my installer out twice to look at it and he says it is a faulty design. I just saw another reviewer who had the same problem. Don’t buy this shower door.
