This clear glass sliding shower door really made the shower a statement. I really like the brushed nickel finish with the ultra clear glass. The coating on the inside really helps prevent water spots! The doors glide effortlessly in the track and the handles are firmly secured to the door. I did not like that the stickers that came on the glass didn't come off nicely, but it was easy enough to get with a razor blade. I've had this for about a month now and havent had any issues. This shower door definitely exceeded my expectations.

The shower door was exactly what we wanted. It is tasteful and well constructed. The glass is heavy and it slides extremely easily on the track. We are very pleased with the quality. The instructions were easy to follow.

Looks nice once installed
The supplier called ahead to arrange a Federal Express shipment. I assume the longest box (about 74") and/or the weight (155 lbs. total of three boxes) required this arrangement including a signature. It took me an hour to get the old doors and frame off including scraping the old chalk both around the frame and the tub. I spent six hours putting the new frame and doors in - one hour to and from the hardware store to buy tile/masonry bits; two hours to drill six holes through tile; and the other three to cut the frame and install it, install the doors and all the assorted hardware, and chalk around the doors and tub. I also made a run to the dump and with an eight foot bed pickup it was easy. If you have a smaller vehicle you may need to cut your old doors down or put them on the roof. You will be able to cut straight through the base plate easily. It's thin and keeping the hacksaw straight takes little effort with or without a miter box. The top plate cut is deeper than most miter boxes can accommodate. I still cut it the same way but the hacksaw blade flexed and the cut went off center though the chalk easily hid it during installation. If I could cut it again I'd either use my jigsaw or would have purchased a metal cutting blade for my bandsaw. With a bandsaw it would have been straight. If you have no tile or stone to drill through, lucky you. I had to drill six holes (three per side) and it took two hours as mentioned previously. I'm skilled with drills and bits having built furniture and made home repairs for decades but have never found a tile or stone drill worth it's salt. Even drilling slowly I went through three tile and three masonry bits to drill the three holes and still resorted to driving a hardened screw through the hole once it would grab and then using the masonry bit to clean what was left to drill. The screw inserts for the walls were of lower quality than expected. Two crushed on insertion into ceramic. The instructions state smaller inserts may be used for ceramic, optional. Rather than do this I used six coated deck screws through the bumpers and door stops that had to be installed anyway and discarded the inserts. I nicked the inside corner of a door and a splinter of glass came off. This was after the doors were installed so I removed the edge protectors, unfortunately while repositioning the door during assembly into the track it touched the frame. I suggest you leave the edge protectors on until it's the only thing left to do is remove them. In summary, it's a good product that should take you about three hours to install into drywall. If you need to cut through stone/tile it is going to take you longer unless you are a mason or have the skills of one.

Absolutely Gorgeous!
I got this to replace a plain chrome colored fully framed shower door. I wasn't sure at first how hard the installation would be, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't even half as difficult as I thought. I do highly recommend making sure you measure correctly before cutting to fit. Measure more than once just to be sure. Once the shower door is installed it is just so gorgeous I couldn't believe just how much I love it! The door slides with ease and seems to fit better than what was there before. It may just look that way but I am just very impressed with this and highly recommend getting one. There are multiple door designs but this one was my favorite.

Easy project
The hardware is very high quality. Make sure the shower opening is exactly plumb and square, otherwise water will leak around the doors. I had to request new rollers for the top rails. The ones in the box were out of round.

    Beautiful Product
The door was very easy to assemble, simple step-by-step instructions were included. You must purchase your own caulk to seal all the edges of the doors. Was a little disappointed in the bottom piece that keeps the doors in line- it is made of plastic. The one received with our door was broken, but HD replaced it immediately no questions asked. Also wish the gap between the doors wasn't so big. I know you need some space so the handles can fit, but water does occasionally get through here.

Nice heavy glass doors. Metal framing and door handles are very solid and substantial. It comes in 2 boxes. one for frame one for glass. Make sure to get both or you'll have another trip to the store!

    defective product
this product was a nightmare. i received defective glass doors that shattered all over the bathroom during installation. thankfully there were no injuries. Home Depot was able to get me replacements which seem to be ok or non-defective - but this took better than 3 weeks leaving me without a bathroom for quite some time. hard to recommend this product with the memory of glass shattering everywhere.

    Missing parts
We ordered this door from Home Depot.com with a free ship to store but it turned out to be a nightmare. When the order came in, I went to pick it up, but it turned out all they sent me home with was the box with the glass doors and two roller pieces (should have been four). When I got it home and discovered the frame and towel bars were not included, I called the store to see if the missing pieces were there. I was told they were not and I would have to contact the online service. I called them and they took my information and said they would send the missing parts, but it would take up to 14 business days. Two days later, I got a call from the store asking why I had not picked up the other two boxes with my shower doors. I explained what had happened and was told I could come pick them up. When I went to the store to pick up the remaining boxes, I was told they were not there! I insisted they had to be there, since I had received a call from someone at the store, telling me they were there. Finally, three associates later, they found my missing boxes. When we started the actual process of installing the door, we discovered we were missing the two other roller attachments. I called the store to see if they had some we could pick up, I was told I would need to come in and see an associate. We took our paper work and receipt with up to the store. An associate took them and disappeared for a long time. When she returned, she told me that they do not carry Delta products in the store and I would have to follow up with Delta myself. At that time, I was so frustrated, I told them I would, but this would result in my leaving a negative review. Suddenly, they were willing to call Delta for me. I got a call from an associate the next day telling me that they had called Delta and they had requested next day or two day delivery on these parts. A week later, when the same associate called me back to see if we had gotten the parts, I told her, "no". She said she would call Delta and see what the problem was. I didn't hear anything for another week, so I called her the next week. She said she would check and then called back the next day, leaving a message telling me the parts had shipped and they should be to me in another 4 or 5 business days. That was 3 days ago, so we will see... In the meantime, the shower door is half installed but with only one door, it is not very useful : ( Sign me: "Wishing I had chosen to buy a different door from someone else!"

    Looks great!
We had a contractor install the door, so I am unsure about the ease of installation. Once in, the door looks & works great! It glides easily & is perfect for our bathroom remodel. The price was the best I could find anywhere by a long shot. I had it shipped to the store in case I needed to return it. It is perfect & there is no need for that. I would prefer to order one that the store had in stock so I could look at it first (especially in deciding the style of the handles).

    Not Nickel
We took it back because the rails are NOT brushed nickel. They were more like a light bronze or champagne and didn't even come close to matching the hardware.

    Not Brushed Nickel
The quality of this shower door WOULD be really good -- EXCEPT it is NOT Brushed Nickel. The towel bar IS brushed nickel but the frame is a Champagne / light bronze. We ordered it twice and requested the second time for a hand picked frame - they are all the same. I was told Delta is aware of the problem. Unfortunately, we installed a brushed nickel Delta Faucet in the bathroom sink and in the shower, and this shower door is way off and does not match the faucets. DO NOT waste your time, if you want Brushed Nickel.

    A great look and customer-oriented
I purchased this shower door as I wanted something of good quality and good looking. I was really pleased when I received the parts, the packaging and instructions were very good and the parts seemed as high-quality as I expected. I was able to assemble everything with no problems, except that I had to shim one end of the header to level it and keep the doors from rolling downhill. I don't remember seeing anything in the instructions about checking and I should have cut one of the side pieces before screwing and sealing them in place. When I went to rehang the doors, the first one shattered as had one wheel on the track and was placing the other. It didn't strike anything as I was hanging it, I think maybe the highest point (near the wheel on the track) was against the upper frame piece and I inadvertently applied tension to the door. Luckily, I only had a few minor cuts and we cleaned the mess up quickly. I have a replacement door on order and hope I don't have any more problems.
