Drain lever disappointing

We just had 2 of these installed in our new house. They look great and we also bought several coordinating towel bars, etc. Not that we plug the drains often, but the drain lever is tiny and difficult to reach. We'll probably have our plumber install pop up plugs instead.

Fit exactly where the old faucet and fittings were. Water leaving the faucet does not spray anywhere except straight down, not all over. Classy appearance.

I had to keep the cold water side turned off until it arrived, but the replacement valve solved the problem.
