A very useful alternative to drilling holes in cabinets to put in a toilet paper holder. Easy to assemble, just screw in and you are done. Unit is easy to move and is adjustable in height.

I like the Delta adjusting free standing toilet paper holder....
I like the Delta adjusting free standing toilet paper holder. Problem is it does not stay in the highest position without falling to the floor no matter how tight you make the turn. It doesn't stay in that position. Should have used a screw to hold in position so it won't fall. Also toilet paper rod is plastic and having to be lifted every time new roll of toilet paper is put on, hopefully it will hold up.

Plastic should be chrome!
Heavy base.bar & latch is plastic & fragile.I can't see my kids changing the roll without accidentally breaking it.the telescoping post doesn't stay where you put it & slides down. NOT happy with this but it matches the rest of the set so we're stuck.

This works ok but giving it 3 starts for the...
This works ok but giving it 3 starts for the below reasons:
-The whole thing is metal except the roll holder which is plastic. not sure why they didnt make it metal. Just seems flimsy/break waiting to happen. However I do like the flip-up changeout vs the spring tube.
-The height adjustment never seems to hold. Ill raise it up and twist it to lock but it will still slide down the following day which is mildly annoying.

Looks good; the one moving part is flimsy plastic
Overall the item looks great, until you notice the arm. In putting the toilet paper roll on you realize the bar is flimsy, hollowed out plastic. The one part that gets the most use and abuse is the part they go cheap on. Bad engineering.

As many other reviewers have noted, it just doesn't stay up, no matter how hard you tighten it. I don't plan on changing the height of mine, so I just used super glue to get it to stay where I want it. Also be aware, that the entire top part is plastic. Be careful when you change a roll and drop the spindle back down. Does not seem durable at all.
