I just replace an off-brand faucet with this Spargo faucet from Delta and it was super-easy to install. The other one was removed because, like so many knockoff's, the spray button kept popping out. And when that happens, it can take hours to get it back in. What a pain. The way that this Spargo faucet is designed, that sort of thing is not going to happen. This is a quality faucet. In fact, it has the look and feel of a $500-$600 faucet. The "Spot Shield" feature is GREAT! It will leave you asking ... How did they do that?" Great value.

I'm a real estate investor. I've lost count of the number of kitchen faucets I've installed over the years. This Delta faucet is probably one of the easiest to install of any of them. It includes an escutcheon or deck plate to use if your sink is of the 3 or 4 hole variety. I'll be using the deck plate and I always apply a little silicone caulk under it to guard against water seeping.
If you've ever installed a kitchen faucet you'll find no surprises with this one. If you've never installed one don't be shy, this one is easy. Delta includes a clearly written and well illustrated instruction pamphlet and I've included a link below for Delta's generic faucet installation video. All you'll need are the included tools, an adjustable wrench, some 100% pure clear silicone caulk, a small bucket and a rag.
Insure that your water supply shut-offs are working properly before you begin disassembly of your old faucet. If you're replacing an old faucet be sure to remove all the old caulk and plumber putty. If the mounting surface on your sink is uneven or pitted a small bead of clear silicone caulk under the deck plate and the soap dispenser will prevent leaks. After installing and tightening the faucet assembly connect the generous 34 in. hot and cold supply lines. Don't over-tighten. Usually hand-tight plus a half-turn is enough. If they're too long just loop them. As with all new faucet installations before running the water for the first time remove the aerator, with the supplied tool, and run the water for a minute or so to flush the lines of any manufacturing debris that may have been overlooked at the factory. The soap dispenser drops into a spare hole and is held in place with one large plastic nut. The dispenser fills from the top but do it slowly. One air bubble causes a mess. I know. The switchable spray head is held securely to the goose neck with strong magnets. A 90 degree twist pops it into your hand. The neck swivels a full 360 degrees so make sure it's over the sink before turning on the water. I learned this the hard way. This unit is heavy and has the feel of an industrial faucet. The SpotShield stainless finish looks great and does a good job of hiding fingerprints and water stains.
I have Delta faucets in some of my other apartments that have been in service for a few years. I've never had a complaint or a repair call and I expect this unit to be just as trouble free. The limited warranty covers parts and the finish for the life of the original purchaser for home use and five years for commercial users and of course you can always find Delta parts available locally if needed.

Seldom will I give 5 starts for all categories, but here I had to. Wife and I love how this faucet looks. It long streaming spout reminds me of a swan. The brushed look adds some hominess to the kitchen. The soap dispenser is very nice, most are a delicate.cheap fixture, not this one as it gives a reggediness to the total package. Installation no more difficult than other faucets of this category..
