Purchased just a year ago. Noticed last fall that it started cracking in places - but now it's cracked all over. Our condo is on a crawl space so the floor is sometimes cold but I would think that's the same in a lot of work places. So when it comes to chair mats the price is probably directly proportional to the quality. Buy yourself something nicer than this model!

It took some time to form, but when it did just perfect the chair sides with no problem and it looks great. I would recommend.

Good product, though not as strong as I had anticipated. Chair wheels sink down just enough to need a nudge to move. Con not enough to warrant a return (my opinion) but worth a mention. For very low carpet, probably a good match. Can't beat the price.

This chair mat arrived rolled up so it was a bit of a challenge to get it straightened out. You may need two people to uncurl it and then have some heavy objects to place on top until it flattens fully. It does seem to be a good quality because it was not cracked or damaged even with being rolled up. It has a good thickness to it and stays in its place on carpet.

My former chair mat was thinner and my chair did not roll well on it. This mat is thicker and my chair rolls easily on it which makes it far more comfortable to work at my computer! This mat was shipped rolled up which made it REALLY HARD to lay on my floor! Because of the thickness, I had to really work at setting this up. I think it will take a couple of days to lay completely flat on my carpet. The shape of this mat is great for my 5-legged office chair and has ample room so that my chair doesn't slide off of the mat. I'm really happy with this mat and not aggravated anymore with my chair sliding off and digging into my previous mat. This is well made so I'm hoping to have it for years to come.

I have been cutting this chemical which is in many plastics, out of my kitchen. But we are exposed to so many plastics all day long, it is not so easily identified. We needed a carpet protecter under our 5 wheel chair in a small home office, and this one is just the right size. The mat is an excellent heavy duty product sold at a very reasonable price!

I had a mat under my office chair but it wasn't long enough to roll back on without falling off the edge on to the carpet. So I got this mat and I love that it is longer and fits perfectly for me. I like the small lip in the front and rounded edges as well. It unrolled/installed easily and was ready to go in less than 12 hours (overnight.) So I would definitely recommend this.

I got this clear office chair mat for use with my computer. It is heavy plastic, it took about 2 hours with pressure on 2 ends to straighten it out enough to put in place.Once in place, it made my chair move so much easier while at the computer. It has a lot of grippers on the back to hold it in place on the carpet thus eliminating sliding around. My only problem came when after about 2 hours sitting there, the chair wheels had made indents into the plastic, making it hard to push the chair away from the deck. The holes do go away and the chair moves easily again when I resit at the computer.

When I upgraded my desk chair from one with regular casters to to one with "inline skate" wheels, I found my chair getting stuck constantly in the carpet. The skate wheels have very low rolling resistance, but they dig into carpet. I was hoping this chair mat would fix the problem, but unfortunately, it's not quite the right product for me. The biggest issue is that it's just too pliable to withstand the pressure of inline skate wheels - they make a big indentation in the mat and get stuck in the depressions. Now, in part this was my mistake, because I didn't carefully measure the pile of my carpet, which is typical home carpeting. It turns out to be more medium pile than low pile. I'd guess, however, that the only way this mat would work with inline skate wheels, is if you used ultra-low pile carpet such as the one shown in the marketing product photo. Basically, the kind of carpet that's installed directly on top of concrete, like in an office building, which has absolutely zero give or cushioning. Given how pliable the mat is, I was really surprised at how difficult it was to unroll when I took it out of the box. It took a lot of effort, and grabbing the edge means you might catch your fingers on the spikes. Probably best for two people to do it.

This chair mat is the perfect size for a home office to help protect a low pile carpet under an office chair for many years. Expect that this chair mat will last for a very long time with it being approximately 0.110" thick which is thicker than other chair mats that I have used. Other chair mats that I have used were only 0.85" thick and cracked over time in areas where casters of an office chair rested on the chair mat for long periods. Like it that this chair mat does not contain hazardous chemicals (Phthalate) or smell when it is brand new in comparison to other chair mats that I have used that had a strong vinyl like smell for several days when they were brand new.

Great product. Fits perfectly in the desk area and it very sturdy however it doesn't always stay put so we had to put something on one of the corners so it doesn't shift. My husband is a big guy (270#) so it does manage the weight well, I think maybe that's part of why it shifts. He's in his office 3-4 hours every day so it is getting used quite extensively.

Never found the rounded edge shown in the picture, but it works just fine.

This product is too thin and flexible. Chair rollers create little craters in the mat, which makes it difficult to roll into a different position.

I wanted something that was a hard plastic for putting over carpet. I thought that was what I had ordered. Alas, the wheels of my chairs are indenting into this chair mat, and I have to stand up to be able to move the chair. I'll be returning this...back to square one.

When I got it, I thought it was too small but since it doesn’t slide around, it’s perfect!!!

I was hoping it would stay out but over time it slides around. Nobbies on the bottom should be longer to dig into carpet. It also creates divets but not hard to move out of them.

The product showed indentations where the office chair was placed and made it difficult to roll.

We were looking for a smaller chair mat and this one is just the right size. In addition, we like the rounded corners, as it looks better on our oval rug. It perfectly met our needs, the price is right and it was delivered quickly.

It’s hard to roll a desk chair on the mat

It is soft, nothing strong and the wheels of the chair sink... we need to make an extra effort to move back and forth. It is small mat, all the time a (1) wheel is outside the mat, either to the sides or behind. I think can be used for a small chair and a petit person..
