Worked perfect for my project making a slightly bigger beveled hole in a metal plate

Great tool the Dremel 3/8" Aluminum Oxide Arch Grinding Stone. Not only can I grind burs off my metal pieces, but I use it mainly to give me a great texture on pieces.

Used this to grind off JB Weld and superglue residue off of a glass pull knob that detached from its base. Was the perfect grinding stone, took off the old adhesive but did not grind into the glass, although it could have. Would purchase again.

The Drexel grinding stones last a long time! I do metal art and use these for some of the finish work.

Wears down at a moderate rate so you should buy 2 of them at a time. Other than that, it is very good as a general purpose metallic grinder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stone is fine for those tiny jobs such as grinding a new edge on a knife, or putting a new point on an awl. aluminum will clog the pores of the stone, so it's not great when working soft metal. I've also used this one for making bare the case on a potentiometer for soldering. Not used every day, but great to have in the arsenal.

Great for sharpening garden tools on a dremel-style device

I used this to help clean a toilet in one of my rental units. After cleaning it I then used this to get the mineral build up off. Worked good.
