My first classic Dremel I've had for 20 years! - Works perfect still! Cutting different materials, wood, metal, tile, and stone. This is a must have tool for any handyman, contractor or DIY'r. The bits NEVER CAME OFF! The design to hold the bits on really good (sort of like a screw). You just screw it down and it will never come off. Unlike other brands I've heard bits flying off because of the quick connect design.

    Worked great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this awhile ago and used it to help remove some old heavy duty linoleum tile.

A must for every handyman’s toolbox!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife recently gave this to me for my birthday. I have found that on every project I have done since then that I’ve needed it. It’s been very useful and has made completing the jobs so much easier. I absolutely love it. I don’t know that I’m going to be able get her anything for her birthday that she’ll like as much as my Dremel Multi Max. I’ll have to dig deep if I do.

Waited too long to get one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited way too long to own one of these. Some cutting with it but mostly used for sanding in tight places on my wood carving.

          A Marvelous Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I built a 15 foot day sailor over the past several years and the multi-max tool was used frequently for shaping, trimming and sawing especially where nothing else would work. A marvelous tool.

            My First Oscillating Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Dremel tools for years both battery-powered and corded. They still work and I even gave one to a relative to introduce him to Dremel. That they still work is a testament to the longevity of Dremel tools. I have not been easy on my Dremel tools of which I have many. Our carpenter had his oscillating tool burn out so I lent him my Dremel oscillating tool. I had to install this outlet because the carpenter wanted to power his tools from a 20 amp breaker since our outside outlet had some problem. Long story short: if you want quality, buy Dremel.

                  Perfect for precision cuts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool to cut into a wood panel wall without exactly knowing where the electrical lines were inside the wall. This tool made the cut safe because I could control and feel the resistance on the blade change as I got closer to breaking through to the inside of the wall. If I would have used my circular saw I could have easily cut wire or PVC pipe and not known it until either seeing water or my wife telling me some lights just turned off in another room! The oscillating nature of the saw and the small blade made it perfect. It is extremely powerful also. This is no bobo saw for sure.

                    Very Versatile Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Dremel MM35 because I needed to address a range of challenging, awkward. difficult-to-access jobs around the house. More immediately, I was seeking a way to cut and shape the round mouldings and woodwork amid the many little nooks and crannies in my new home under construction. My only criticism is the operating switch seems feeble. A more rugged switch with a positive feel should be used instead in a future version of the tool. Thank you Dremel!

Easy to use! Great problem-solving tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Dremel MM35 to solve a problem I was having in attempting to remove an old and grimy standard top and bottom mount toilet seat that was improperly installed on a top-mount enclosed toilet by the previous homeowner. The enclosed toilet did not allow access to the nut underneath on the toilet seat. I’m not sure how it was originally installed given the limited access. Using the Dremel MM35, I was able to cut the old toilet seat bracket off which allowed the bolt and nut to fall through to the floor inside the toilet near the small floor bolt access panel where I could retrieve it for disposal. With careful operation, the Dremel caused no damage to the toilet. Then I was able to install the new correct top-mount toilet seat with no further problems. Thank you, Dremel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best tool I ever bought is the Multi-Max. I used the heck out of this tool for a recent dollhouse restoration project to cut doorway and window holes and a massive sanding job. Perfect cuts every time. Sanding attachment gets into every crevice!

                              Perfect for Cutting door jambs
I mostly use this to install flooring. I have the older MM-30 and it does a great job to cut things in a specific way. I have also altered vanities for plumbing and all kinds of things that allowed me to cut where I did little to no damage other than what I wanted to cut. The blades do wear out quickly though. I feel this is a great tool but quite overpriced. I can buy a cordless one for around the same price.

                                Power Switch broke off
I used this dremel once to cut drywall, and the next day I went to turn it on and the switch was stiffer than usual. Was able to turn the switch up to turn the dremel on and the blue button went flying and now I can’t turn it off. It worked fine on other surfaces but one cut with drywall broke this thing and it’s not even a year old.

                                  Toolless Change of Blades!
There are 2 things I really like about this tool. The first, it is cordless and the second is the toolless method for changing blades. No more hunting for extension cords or lost blade changing tools. This tool is also light weight, 3 pounds 6 ounces including the battery. The surfaces where you would grip the tool have a soft and tactile feel. The head of the tool is slightly angled to allow you to hold the tool comfortably with the blade setting flush with the cutting surface. The head of the tool is also small which allows it to work in confined spaces. It took approximately 1 hour to charge the battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my go to for power tools. I originally thought I would be using it for just cutting, but have been sanding, removing grout and old tile thinset among many uses. Don’t know how I got along without it before. Even sanded the wood varnish on a classic woody wagon I own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oscillating multi-tool & after using it for a couple weeks, just about every day for a variety of different projects that I ended up naming the tool “My Money Maker”. That’s the honest truth. I used it for many different types of remodeling and construction jobs and it’s the most versatile, fastest, & most efficient tool I had in my tool box until it was stolen or “purposely misplaced by one of my crew members “. But, who am I to accuse a person for taking what wasn’t theirs?? All I know is I know exactly where I put it and why I put it there and wouldn’t you know,, after returning from lunch break the tool was nowhere to be found and neither were a few of my crew members. . Needless to say, there were a few other items missing as well but, my Dremel Oscillating Multi Tool is the only tool I cared about being taken out of the package of tools I had set aside. #DREMELM35-01TOPNOTCH #NEEDNEWMONEYMAKERPLEASE!!

                                          Dremel Saved My Bacon!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently discovered that two of our bathrooms needed grout work. Of course, it started with a door that needed minimal caulking. However, upon a closer examination, I noticed cracked grout in all major joints where wall, floor and ceiling walls met. In addition, floor and wall tiles had issues. I also decided to check our other tiled bathroom. I removed all grout from one bathroom and all connection area grout from the other. More than a week later I finished. I had a rotary Dremel which I used the 569 1/16th inch Carbide Grout Removal bit tool on. Based on my past experience with Dremel and excellent 5-star reviews and 94 percent user recommendations, I also purchased a Dremel Multi-Max M35 and the half circle 1/16 inch grout tool. Both Dremel and accessories were invaluable. The marble tiles were placed very closely together in both bathrooms and the 1/16th inch tools fit perfectly. I do not know what I would have done without these Dremel tools. You really saved my bacon! There are not a lot of 1/16th inch tools readily available in other brands. My new Multi-Max paid for itself in one use and I have other projects lined up. What a great value!

I purchased this tooll because the other sander I had wasn't getting the paint off of the propeller on my outboard motor. I needed it to be free of all paint to apply a product to repel green growth in the water. This mm35 sander was a beast! One after noon and it was finished. great at small spots also.

This has been my favorite tool I have ever purchased. It is my second Drexel oscillating saw. My first one didn’t have a speed control. This makes a big difference. I am in the process of remodeling an older motor home and have had to make some tight cuts in weird places. The Drexel has come through for me in almost every situation. I have probably put 15 to 20 hours of work on this saw since I purchased it. The sander is excellent in small areas. It actually can sand anything and was much easier on my hands. The only problem I have had is I haven’t figured out how to cut metal with it, ie. screws that are too long.

I've had my Multi-Max for at least 4 years and have used it in several situations where other tools have disadvantages. The latest use for me was removing a row of backsplash tile. I had to make more room for a taller new over-the-range microwave oven. The Multi-Max made easy work of cutting a straight horizontal line through the grout and precise vertical lines that didn't extend below the horizontal line. Then I just used a chisel and wooden mallet to coax the tile free of the thinset. The entire job took less than1 5 minutes. Note: An old sheet taped below the tiles to be removed made cleanup much easier. A little drywall touchup and paint and I'm ready for the new Microwave installation.

On the surface, the MM35-01 Multi-Max Tool Kit looks like just another oscillator tool available on the market. This MM35 is the new toy in my house. It is easy to handle and less heavy which means it is good for long duration of work. The MM35 has packed with 3.5 Amp power which is good enough for most household repair work. I have tried to cut a 2”x4” and it works well, and the cut is smooth. Just need more time to finish the work. Every tool has its specialized area, oscillating tool is no difference. I have also used the MM35 to cut a drainage pipe to free the leak-proof ring without damage it. The cutting process is a piece of cake. Overall, the MM35 meet my expectation and sure it will play an important role in my household maintenance work in the future.

I first used the MM35 to remove some rotted wood below a door frame and was impressed by the low noise level and the power. I then used this to cut out dovetail waste on a huge bench that I built out of white oak. The MM35 went through with the 2” of hardwood with no problem! I highly recommend this product and also I recommend the Dremel cutters as well! After using the MM35 in such harsh material the blade is still sharp! Great job Dremel!

I don't think there has ever been a tool that Dremel made that I didn't love... and this is no different. this new 3.5 Amp is really powerful, and will devour anything you throw at it. I've used this to cut through nails, wood, plastic and much more, and it just keeps going. you can keep this at a slower OPM (around 10,000) for a more controlled cut, or crank it to 10 on the selector wheel and slice through everything at 21,000 OPM. Sanding is also great using this too, and they even give you the sanding head and a bunch of different grit sand paper The build quality of this tools is just as good ans everything else Dremel makes. It's solid, heavy duty and feels great in the hand. You can't even feel the vibration of this because of the padded grip they added to this. One of the coolest parts of the new MM35 is the quick blade release system. There is no tool/wrench that is needed to remove the blades on this. All you need to do is loosen the knob to take the blade out, then tighten it to secure the blade. Its super fast, and no worries about losing the tool. It also keeps the blade in very securely! All in all, this tool is perfect for tight spaces, and/or quick and easy cuts around the house or on the job-site. It's extremely powerful, and super easy to use. Not to mention the 7' cord makes this easy to get around with.
