If this is attached firmly and on several points to a wall, it might be OK for a few years, but the plastic flexes and is not very heavy duty. If you want it to be in the sun and supporting a big plant, like a bougainvillea, don't count on it not to crack and flex at some point. I have it attached top and bottom, not in the middle, since I have no mid-point support post, and it feels somewhat wobbly. It looks very nice, though, and wasn't too hard to assemble.

It was a little difficult to assemble and took about two hours but the end result was well worth it. It's very attractive against the side of my storage building and will be a glamorous background to my climbing roses. It's very sturdy and I'm sure it will hold up well for many years. You won't be disappointed if you choose this trellis!

Super easy to assemble, looked beautiful, so I ordered another!

The trellis was easy to assemble but you do need a solid surface. We used the garage floor and that was perfect. A power drill worked very well in screwing the trellis together...I think a plain screwdriver would have been too difficult. Also you need PVC glue. Super glue didn't work.
