Do not buy this grill
I was excited to purchase this grill for the searing ability. I have only had this for 5 months and it is rusting. I am embarrassed to have friends and family over for a cookout. I contacted Dyna-Glo and their response was that rust is not part of the warranty. WOW

      Straight up trash! Zero stars.
Had grill for 1.5 years. Grill stays covered. Bottom of the grill decided to rust out and fall in to the cabinet below. For this price, I expected to get at least 2-3 years out of it. Warranty is useless since it is only good for 1 year. Avoid at all costs! I purchased it for a non-profit and I wasted donation money on this garbage.

Handle damage otherwise a 5 rating
“Lid handle assembly with Knurt, item number 70-02-087” was bent and the handle will not sit flush with the unit. (See picture). I put it together myself. All else was in great shape. Both side trays fold down, have a smoker box, and searing grate. Each individual control knob has its own ignition spark. IT GOT HOT QUICK! After only 5 minutes the temp gauge read just under 700°. Can’t wait to throw some steak on today.

          Paint Peels
POOR QUALITY! This is the second one I bought in 3 months. Returned both because paint blistered and peeled on the hood within 4-6 weeks. Kept the grill covered and live in Southern California so it's not weather or improper care. Grill cooks well but poor quality. Don't buy!

Wrong left side tablet - NOT what I paid for
Go see the questions and answers… Alter one year (since April 2022) of trying to get the matching left side tablet from GHP Group, still no news after five attempts (case 545669). Be warned, they’re still selling the BBQ with the back order tablet. Will you get the right one or be stuck hunting down GHP like I am? Also posting photos in question section as well. Cheap Chrome Knobs
Had the Dyna-Glo Burner Gas Grill for 4 months now and like the way it cooks and the ability to add smoke to the cooking, The only problem I experienced to date was the knobs, in spite of the fact the grill is always covered except when cooking the fake chrome on the knobs flaked off.

                DO NOT BUY THIS GRILL
If I could leave zero starts I would- have owned for less than one year. Use it often, yes, but the entire bottom has fallen out and every piece of the grill is rusted. Just simply does not last. Stay away.

                    Beware!
I never write reviews--good or bad--but felt compelled to this time. On the first time really using it, except for a couple of steaks or burgers, the grill melted and disintegrated. It had been running for about 1.5 hours on the lowest heat possible for some ribs. I took the ribs off and turned up the heat to burn off the residue. Five minutes later, I came back to scrape and cook the rest of the meal. Not good! Who knows what would have happened if I was away a little longer.

                      What’s not to love??
Bought this grill for my husband as our old grill was a couple of years old. Easy enough to put together, so much so that he did it by himself for the most part. There was only one flange that wasn’t lined up properly so he had to drill it but we’ve certainly seen worse from manufacturers. A few great features that we didn’t need but certainly enjoy. Didn’t see these feature on any other model in the same price range. -the sear and added flat grill plate and added -hooks & condiment basket

                        Disappointed
Metal cabinet doors don’t line up, grill cover doesn’t close tightly so there is heat loss, one of the casters completely broke off and it can’t be replaced since the housing is broken around it, metal is very lightweight, far right burner doesn’t light on its own, have to use a match. HD handled the assembly. Made 2 trips to pick the grill up since the information system notified me it was ready but it was not. App crashed numerous times, forced to use webpage for review.

Great grill, but a pain to assemble.
Once I got the grill assembled, it cooks and works great. 5 stars all the way. Let's talk about assembly. I am missing one lynch pin (see pic). I can pick that up on my own but it is annoying. There are at least 2, if not 4 screws that are almost impossible to install without special tools. I am looking at you Step #2. Wear gloves when you assemble, because they did not deburr all the edges and you will cut yourself up if you use a normal screwdriver. There are no extra fasteners, so be sure to use them wisely and don't lose any. A few of the weld nuts had spatter in them and had to be chased with a tap. And the packaging... This grill comes in at about 150 lbs. delivered. I swear 20 lbs of it is packaging. Very well secured, box in a box concept. However, there was really no way to pull the grill out of the box as it was way too heavy. I ended up cutting the box's sides and let them fall. Low and behold, trapped in between the side foam and box wall were components that weighed a ton, like the ceramic griddle and side shelves.. Once I got those out of the way, unpacking was a lot eaiser. Keep the utility knife handy, as they did not skimp on packaging tape on EVERYTHING! Once again, once you get the thing built, operation and cooking are great.

                            Husband's new favorite toy
The grill itself is very nice however the instructions are ridiculous. Nothing is labeled!! It takes 2 people, one to tell you that parts you need for each step and one person to put the parts together. Beware: our first grill arrived damaged and dent in on both sides but Home Depot customer service was amazing and we had to wait almost a week to get our new one. Well worth the money.

Beautiful and relatively easy to put together
The hardest part about this item was that it took 3 months to get my husband to help me set it up. I couldn't do it by myself. Good idea to have 2 people involved. But it's done and is a lovely addition to our patio. The manual mostly works in pictures with very little text so a couple things we had to figure out but the photos were a big help. It took us 3 hours though. Be careful and don't scratch the paint off the panels because the metal underneath will rust. I found 1 tiny spot on it where it was scratched and had gotten went from the fog before we got it setup. I love that the tank sits on a shelf on the bottom so we can roll it around easily without having to tote the tank around separately. It has a smoker box that sits inside and is removable. The grates are cast iron so couldn't hurt to grease them down and prime them before using to cook similar to how you do cast iron pans. Will help with cleaning later but they are also removable so you can clean them anywhere. There is a temperature gauge attached to the lid which is very useful in preheating and determining if you are getting enough heat inside while cooking. That's a nice feature I didn't realize it had. The side burner is cool. You can cook a pot of veggies on it or keep something warm. We love this grill.

Great Grill for the Money. (not a seed review)
his must be a new design since all I seen were seeded reviews. But I took the plunge and purchased because I was looking for a grill with a small footprint but yet enough BTU's to sear meats. The assembly was the easiest of any grill I have ever assembled and took me about 1.5 hours by myself. It uses the same size screws for everything except the propane thank heat shield. I put thread lock on all screws since some of them did not want to tighten very well. (the screws thread into a pre-mounted threaded insert that could potentially break loose if you over tighten) so be careful not to over torque the screws. I did have an issue with the warming rack. The pivot pin (making up this word for the part because it don't have a name in the assembly instructions) that connects to the grill body (as opposed to the ones that attach to the grill hood" was fabricated too long and was causing the warming rack to bind up when closing the grill hood and not allowing the warming rack to stay level as the hood was closed. I called customer service explained the issue and they shipped a new warming rack that same day which I received the following day. I did lay the warming racks next to each other and confirmed the lower pivot pin on the new rack was indeed about 1/4" shorter than the original. A nice surprise was the hood is actually insulated (a second layer of sheet metal on the inside) I am sure this will help keep the temperatures up when grilling in colder weather. The smoker box is located under the grill grates and I think this is a genius idea. you have the option to add wood chips but don't have to take up valuable grilling space with a typical smoker box. Also , the grill has individual igniters on each burner which is a nice feature. Overall this is a nice grill for the money , gets very hot and works flawlessly. I removed one star from the rating due to the hassle of having to contact customer service for the replacement warming rack assembly. but as stated already the customer service was great,

                              Great Grill
I have been happy with this grill. It came unassembled and it took me around two hours to assemble it. The directions were clear and all the parts were included. It includes three “standard” burners and a “sear” burner which has a different type of grill. The grills are cast iron but coated with a non-slick surface. It includes a ship box for smoking which requires pulling off one of the grills (and not using it). I did not smoke with it as I only really needed something for grilling. The sear burner did a good job of searing the meat I was cooking while the burners got the inside of the grill nice and hot for rapidly getting the meat to the proper temp. The lid has a temp gauge on it so you can keep an eye on the interior temperature. Starting the burners is as easy as turning the knob. No batteries required, it simply clicks to throw a spark and light the gas. It has four wheels, two of which lock to keep the whole grill from moving around while you cook. The two side shelves are a convenient place to set food and utensils. The grill also includes an upper warming rack for keeping food warm without continuing to have it sit on the main grill. Overall, this grill is looks good and does a good job of grilling, slow cooking or smoking.

Excellent features and value for the price
This is a really nice, full featured propane gas grill. I was not familiar with Dyna-Glo, so I was a bit hesitant to purchase an unfamiliar brand, but the value for the price compared to the "name brand" was too good to pass up. First, the stainless steel construction is very nice for the price, and is nicer than the painted grills I've had previously. There were a few sharp burrs on a few of the edges of the steel, but those were easily filed down. The four burner size is a nice upgrade from the 1-2 burner grills I've used previously. The extra space is nice to have when grilling for a party or family gathering, and it's especially handy for grilling a large batch of veggies. The grill lights up very easily, much easier than my old BBQ. This BBQ even includes a tool to hold a match into the grill as a backup, which is a nice touch. The diamond grill grate and "SearPLUS" feature is interesting, and I look forward to trying it with steak and burgers. The doors on the bottom cabinet are a surprisingly nice feature. In addition to hiding the propane tank, I like to have a few supplies under or near the BBQ, and having the stainless doors to cover that up makes the grill look much neater and cleaner. The smoker box is a nice touch as well. I've never done smoking on a propane grill, so I'm curious to try it and see how well it works. While I don't move the grill around much, having the four caster wheels is nice, allowing me to easily move the BBQ out of the way if needed. I'm very impressed with the quality, features, and overall value of this grill, and am now open to trying new brands for grills.

                              Great Grill for the price
Since moving, a new grill was high on our outdoor must-haves, since we like to do a lot of outdoor grilling all year round. However, I also like to do smoking of meat (in particular my homemade bacon), so finding a grill that can do both was great. The large overall surface area for grilling means that I can have family and friends over and not have to cook in shifts, and the sear area of the grill makes for a great way to finish off steaks. The grill has a nice interior height to it so I can also do beer-can chicken easily, especially using indirect heat. The grill is lighter (but sturdy!) than others I have owned and is easy to move around, and the stainless steel is very sleek looking and easy to clean. The grill heats up fast and cooks/heats evenly (unlike the previous grill I had). There is plenty of storage space in the enclosed area of the cart, and the the two work surface wings make this a delight to use. Assembly was challenging initially, as mine did not come with instructions; however they were easily found on the Home Depot web page and while they are confusing at points they are not that bad (although, later I found out you can get them on the BILT app, which is AWESOME). There are a lot of parts but patience makes the assembly pretty simple. The actual assembly was really easy: it took 50 minutes without any help, and the only real help I needed was to lift the grill assembly for the final stages. Again, being organized and patient makes assembly easy. As a con, it does not have anywhere to hang tools, but neither has any of the other grills I have owned; this is something I will look into rigging up later. Overall this is a great grill for the price and recommended.

                              Small But Powerful
I already have a Komodo tip smoker/cooker that uses hardwood charcoal, but I was looking for something that I could fire up quickly and cook a meal without taking up a lot of space in the backyard. I was able to put it together in under an hour alone even though it said a 2 person job. I believe one step of the instructions had the part the wrong way, but I figured it out. It has 3 burners with one of them being hotter than the other for intense searing. It reaches high heat quickly. The burner guards help prevent flare ups, but there were a few regardless. It does have a smoker box to add chips if you want.

                              Great grill
I owned Dyna-Glo grill before and it was great with no problems ever. This is an upgrade with more burners and better grills. I love the look of the stainless steel and the functional doors on the front. The porcelain-coated cast iron grills are the best! I can't wait to use the searing grill for great looking steaks and veggies. The reason I only gave it 5 stars is because the directions for assembly leave a lot to be desired. I am used to assembling all types of things but this one was frustrating. Most of the problems occurred on the 1st page of the instructions. I just warn you to be very careful identifying right from left, top from bottom, and front from back. The pictures aren't detailed enough to be obvious and the pieces are not marked. Once past that, the assembly was great. A great idea would be for pieces to have little sticker labels on several of the bigger pieces.

                              Gets the job done
This was the second grill I've ever assembled and I have to say the instructions were easy to follow and I didn't run into any problems. All the hardware was provided with the only tool needed being a philips screwdriver. It took me 1.5 hours to assemble. Once set up, its simple to operate. The piezo ignition is integrated into the gas knobs, so I just turn the knob, the piezo kicks and the burner lights up; no batteries needed. The grill surface pieces are heavy and provide for a good sear. The far right burner is kind of a double burner, with a different grate pattern for the grill surface. This is for searing meat at a higher temp than you would be able to on the standard burners and its a really cool feature for those of us who like a medium rare steak with a nice sear/crust on the outside. Everyone likes this feature and we use it more than we thought we would. The grill has locking wheels in the back, but not in the front, but the stays put so not an issue. Having cabinet doors in front makes for a clean look as you can't see the propane gas tank and we can store utensils and stuff in there. Side shelves are very sturdy due to the 4 screws that hold each in place. We are happy with the choice we made.

                              A real deal...
The instructions are mostly sketches, so they are fairly easy to follow. Do compare left/right side panels, chrome front/black back wings, etc., to the sketches before deciding which piece is which. Except for mounting the actual grille onto the roll-around base, it can be a one person job. I built the base by myself. One tip, the side wings fold down, so I found that I could pre-mount the top bolts on the wings as they don't go through anything, then mount the tougher bottom bolts with the wing in the fold down position so I could reach it from the top side. The grates are heavy-duty cast-iron and cooked evenly. There is a "warming rack", also. A choice of a cross-hatch pattern (1 grate) or regular grill lines (2 grates). The flame deflectors generally work although a juicy burger can create flames on any grill. The burners were easy to precisely adjust to the heat desired, and the sear burner, red knob, can really sear. Plenty of BTUs. The built-in thermostat seemed accurate as best as we could compare. Cooks great ribeyes and burgers (see photos), and I am sure anything else desired. A nice full-featured grill for the price.

Large grill for large gatherings and families
This is the largest grill we have ever owned and it already made such a difference! With our previous two burner grill, we had to plan the meals by putting them in the cooking order (mix veggies first, get them out and place the burgers, get those out, and place the corns). Having done that for years, I thought that is just how it is. After we sit down to eat, I used to be the one going back and forth to the grill and leaving the table every now and then, and yes... occasionally forgetting some things inside and leaving them to their destiny (always hot dogs). We picked this up for its size so that we can have large meals with company. What a difference! The usable grill surface space (according to my measurement) is 16 inches by 34 inches. It can easily fit 12-16 burgers and a mix-veggies tray. I start with the veggies and after 20 minutes, I place all 10-12 burgers in, and 10-15 minutes later, veggies and burgers are all ready to eat, and the grill is off. If you are getting it for a large family or large meals, it makes such a difference. Use and cleaning The grill has six burners, and the sixth gets super hot (high temp burner). Because there are so many burners and large cooking space, the grill itself also gets quite hot. If you have kids around, make sure to keep them away from the grill. Although the grill itself gets really hot, the handle to open the lid is still okay to touch. When you are using it for the first time after assembling, make sure to let it burn empty for around 20 minutes, as it burns any plastic or chemicals from construction. I like being able to access the tank from front or back to be able to turn it off after using. Another great feature is how easy it is to take the drip tray and container out from the back to clean. It collects the burnt fat quite well and cleans easily by hosing it off or wiping. The wheels seem sturdy and it was easy to move it around in the backyard, even on grass. Assembly We have intermediate DIY skills and it took us two and a half hours to assemble this grill. It comes boxed quite well, and we needed to open by cutting the front and opening one side like a flap. You will need to open everything and lay them out since some parts are inside others. There are some steps that require two people, but most of it can be done by one person as well. The instruction manual that comes with the grill does not have any written descriptions and only has pictures. It was overwhelming seeing the manual and the steps there at first. What was a life saver was the BILT app. You download the free app on your phone or tablet, and write the product name in the search box, voila! The interactive instructions are much more helpful than the print pictures. You can zoom in on parts and turn them around 3D to see if you are looking at the right part. The grill has hundreds of parts, so things can get overwhelming. What would have really helped to print the letter codes with stickers on the parts itself. For example, the right bracket may be called T and it says on the app and the manual, but nothing on the part itself or its packaging, so you need to find the piece that looks like the one in the picture, some puzzle solving is involved there. I used a 4V electric screwdriver which helped finding the threads easier and saved me some wrist pain. There are many screws involved. Things usually aligned okay, but every now and then we had to move things (don’t tighten both screws at once, find the thread and leave it loose a little) to rattle into space. If we made one end tight, the other one was out of alignment. The parts needed perfect alignment (two holes on the two pieces) for the screw to be able to find the thread. The right door seemed to be a little lower than the left, so we added two washers at the bottom and it successfully lifted it up. Make sure to check the hoses-connections with soapy water to make sure there is no leak. Overall, this is a great grill for a large family that we are hoping to use for many years.

                              Dyna Glo Fo Sho
It was time for a new grill, as my old one had started to degrade in some areas after years of heat, sun, water, and steak juice abuse. Enter the 4 burner Dyna-Glo grill, a worthy successor. There's no fancy or gimmicky features with this grill - it's just built to grill your food. No side burners and no LED lights for the knobs, just the basics, and I think it's better for it. The one unique thing it has is a smoke box, where you can put wood chips in and place the box between burners to get a smoky taste to your food. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to at some point. The grill is smaller than my old 5 burner grill, but it actually has a higher heat capacity and has a more even heat distribution. This grill will do just fine for a couple or a small family. Assembly went relatively smoothly, although it took my wife and I double the time (~ 2 hours) to finish it compared to the suggested 50 min 2-person assembly time stated in the manual. Quality is decent, but I noticed that the front doors are not well aligned and the left door needs extra force to close completely. Not the end of the world, but noticeable and annoying. Also be careful of scratching, as the tops of the side tables are painted black and show scratches very easily as I've quickly discovered. The casters are fantastic and smooth, a huge improvement over my last grill. I also really like that this grill has a back panel and is not exposed completely in the rear - my previous grill had an open back that invited some not so welcome mice friends to make a home there. The sear burner works well, putting out extra heat compared to the other burners. The cross hatch grill plate design also helps avoid vegetables falling down into the drip pan so I really appreciated that feature. And it puts on some really nice grill marks which is a plus. Some cons to this grill include no tool holder or hooks (this appears to be quite common on modern grills for some reason... we need a place to hang our tools while we grill!) This can be easily remedied with magnetic hooks that attach to the end tables though. The grill grates don't completely fill up the grill surface either, as there can be decent gaps between them for food to slip down, so you need to be wary of that. There's also a considerable lip between the end tables and the grill surface which can catch your hand while cleaning. Lastly, the drip pan doesn't have a dedicated handle to pull it out, so that makes the process of removing it to clean and reinstalling it a bit more difficult. A nice feature to add would be a grill light integrated into the grill hood, so you can see what you grill at night when it's cooler out. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this grill so far and look forward to grilling more in the future.
