After researching different models, I found this 1/2 HP model for narrow sump pits. Home Depot website allowed me determine none were in stock nearby. Therefore, I ordered it online and received shipping notices allowing me to track the pump as it made its quick trip from Ohio to southeast PA, arriving at nearby Home Depot store. I picked up the pump and then went to my parents house to swap out their old failed pump. I followed the installation directions included with new sump pump, and had it installed quickly & with ease. This new pump fits much better in the narrow sump pit than the old failed pump. Float on new pump has plenty of room that should allow it to operate without hanging up against the wall of the sump pit that was formed out of a 11" x 11" I.D. section of Terracotta (home was built some 55 years ago). Pump has been in place and working for over a month now, and is much quieter than the old pump.

This 1/2 horse eco pedestal pump was average priced, but apparently made very cheap, it broke after a year, just snapped the pedestal from the base, thankfully I heard a strange sound and found out before a rain storm, and replaced. Very disappointed.

This pump is so quiet and very easy to install. Was so impressed with its operation I bought another one for a back up.

EcoFlo sump pump works well. Good value.

Purchased two of these at the same time. One failed after 13 months and the other sounds as if it could go out at anytime. Replaced both with a different brand.

Good value for your money. Cast iron base is better than the plastic base from others on the market. Works well

Home Depot delivered this pump on time and in excellent condition. This pump does exactly what it is supposed to do. It has a large water flow and can easily maintain a dry basement even in the worst of storms. I bought this pump to replace another of the same model that lasted well over 10 years in a basement that has a high water table. I expect this pump to perform at the same reliable level.

Easy to install though you do need a reducer to connect from the pump to your house abs pipe. Don't have any floods but when the pump was tested after installing it worked. Another note, needed to place 2 bricks under the pump base in the hole so that the motor was above the floor.

This is so far superior to submersible pumps. The longevity of these units surpasses submersible pumps.

can you tell me what the height of this pump is from the floor to the top of the motor? my hole is quite shallow and the one i just purchased is to tall and cellar would start to flood before it even turns on. web sight made me do ratings and i have not even bought the item yet!!??

Works well, and is well constructed. My only complaint is that they should have included a 11/4 sized fitting as well as a 11/2.

The float was dented/under-inflated… It still will work but, it wasn’t right..everything else was great!

the pump provides plenty of output the only problem is that it is 3 inches shorter than my existing pump, which puts this pump even closer to the floor.
