Seems like a decent door for the price.
I happened to open the end of the box at the end containing the bottom of the door, and was less than impressed to see that the core of the door is pressboard, all the way to the bottom, where the sweep mounts. I have seen how poorly pressboard performs/lasts when it gets wet, since it will swells badly. I brushed on some Thompson Waterseal over that bottom edge of the pressboard. The door installed with no surprises.

The door is scratched and dented in the bottom not very happy with it and I had to wait 20 minutes when I ordered it just to get the door from customer service

Emco products are junk! Their warranty is horrible! 10 year scam!
This door is undersized and you will have to build out you jam if you had a true 32” door.
It is bubbling after being installed for six months. Anderson 10 year warrants is terrible.
They will sent out a core to be replaced with the existing hardware you have or you can
Choose an upgrade and get a small percentage off for the garbage you have. No labor is
Covered. Instructions ask you not to bring back to store is a scam for this product.
Home Depot should avoid selling this junk if they value their customers. Take this ————

Not sure what to do
We bought this door 2/27/21 with a front door ! This Emco / Anderson Screen Door is literally coming apart where the rodents can come into where the glass is! Pretty crazy to see the all crawling around in the glass area on the door! The installers did not properly install this door where Home Depot (Home Services) came out and installed the door handles properly a year ago! They did reinforce the where the door screen opens and closes! But the screen plastic part that's raises and closes the screen has come apart again and now is looser than before. The pictures show the crack ! We are not very happy with this door! A screen door should not be coming a part so soon after purchase (2/27/21) is why I give such a poor review....At this point I am not really sure what direction to go into!

Gaps
Door seal is not good can see big gaps at each corner.and door says do not return to store .made by Anderson this is terrible I wish more people put honest reviews out there.

I had to replace it for 2nd time, in 10 year period. 1st time they covered replacement door under warranty, but 2nd time they denied warranty. Anderson said it was physical damage which it was but it happened do to swelling from water entering bottom of door frame and swelling partial board at bottom panel...

Core rotted in under 3 years.
Andersen honored the warranty, so to speak. I could pay over $70 to get a replacement or $200-$300 to get upgraded replacement. For free, they will send another panel to my local Home Depot, if the store will order it. It has to be picked up when it arrives, old door taken apart and the new panel assembled with that old hardware and l need to have it installed.
Next time, l will buy from another company.

Used to be decent product
These doors have become relative garbage in a matter of a few years. We previously purchased a 200 series door to install unto a porch rough opening of about 81.5 inches. The frame rails were 80.5 inches (both sides) The new product has rails that are significantly shorter by at least 1.5 inches and will not cover the previous installation profile. Also noticed the final QA is very poor. Our door had glue residue all over it and glue fingerprints from whoever put it together. Won't buy again.

Screen is at the bottom
We bought this door to serve as some ventilation and additional insulation from our garage to the house. It isn’t exposed to wet weather so should hold up better than what some of the negative reviews mentioned. Went up fairly easy between my husband and son-in-law. Biggest negative, which was our bad for not noticing, the screen is on the bottom. Poor design if you have pets or small children. If anyone knows how to modify, please post!

not the best quality
The door is a very heavy MDF board. The instructions were not written well but even as a novice we got the door installed. I would say it was a solid decent door overall for the price. But there are several issues. The spring in the handle is very thin. There are seams on the door that could let water into the wood interior. The window does not fit correctly, so the top of the storm window falls out unless we keep it in the up position. That is why I would not recommend and may return the door.

If I could give Zero Stars I would
This door was purchased and installed less than a year ago. It is the WORSE door ever. It broke off at the hinges very quickly. Apparently I am not the only one with these issues. I read through the other reviews and Andersen stated to call them with the serial number. I did that and and they face timed the door and sent pictures to the warranty department. Apparently as they said "outside forces" caused this incident and it is not covered. It is a STORM door and should be able to take the brunt of a storm. Living in the Boston area, it gets stormy and windy. If they didn't want to back a storm door, they should just call it a tiny breeze door. STAY AWAY. Totally useless.

A storm door aids in reducing the amount of air or moisture coming through in order to enhance the function of your entry door system. Currently Andersen does not offer a storm door product that meets or exceeds storm or hurricane code, or state code requirements. Since a storm door is installed to the exterior surface of the home for various functional reasons, it is not considered an integral part of the home's structure even though building codes in your area may require this. We do stand behind our products as long as the issue is within the bound of the door's warranty. The warranty information can be found on the door's installation manual, for review. - Noel

door is 3/4 shorter and narrower rails than previous 100 series storm door
now it won't cover footprint of previous storm door. They shortened the door by 3/4 and made the side rails slightly narrower. They also give you another piece to cover the 3/4 gap above the top if it does not cover your height of 80" The side rail is 79 3/4" instead of 80 1/2" as the old one. I would not recommend getting this door. With the narrower side rails you don't have as much rail attached to the doors brick mold.

Did not last 1 year
I purchased this door in October 2021. I contacted Home Depot in September of 2022, who referred me to Customer Service.
The top window does NOT stay up! No matter how gently you close the door it slides down. It also leaks (obviously from the window falling down), but also in the seams around the window. During one storm, the rain coming in between the 2 doors was ridiculous! I was glad I was home to constantly stay on top of the water.

Price switch at time of purchase

Looked up online and went to make this purchase in Mt. Pleasant, TX. price listed as $144.00(handle included) at counter price charged was $179.00 before taxes. We purchased 2. If you pull this item up it list price, isle and number in stock at this location. Another similar quality door for $138(not including handle) was our 1st choice. Had I known the price would be different at the counter I would have purchased that one.
HD get your pricing consistent. Not cool.

Developed corrosion
I bought this 2 years ago, and six months ago, it started corroding in a small place on the outside frame, which would periodically prevent the door from closing. I would scrape off some of the material so it would close, but it's progressed to the point where it's nearly eaten away the frame from that spot. I would NOT recommend this door!!!

Easy to install by myself
What a difference a new, clean door looks compared to the old dirty one. I am a 54 yr old female and installed this myself, along with watching many YouTube videos! It is very sturdy and clean looking.
