I was excited when manufacturers started making LED candelabra light bulbs. My dining room light had the old incandescent bulbs that had a yellow light which wasn't very pleasant. These daylight bulbs have a white light which doesn't detract from the room's decor. The brightness is dimmable, which is perfect for setting different moods for dining. I am very happy with the fact these bulbs should have a very long life as well as being energy efficient.

The incandescent lights on my covered porch are constantly failing, so I decided to upgrade to the Ecosmart 40 Watt Equivalent B11 Candelabra Base LED Lights. The frosted bulb with soft white (5000K) color is perfect for both interior spaces and covered porches. It puts out 300 Lumens brightness and uses only 4 Watts. Best of all the lights will last 13.7 years.. They are also dimmable and omni-directional, so there are no dark spots. Highly recommended for upgrading B11 Base fixtures.

Tired of waiting on those CFLs to warm up? Pick these LED bulbs. Great value, instant on, and dimmable! Our ceiling fans use this candelabra style and make a quick change for the lighting in our bedrooms. The 60 watt equivalent is sufficient for our space. Love how these are fully dimmable, really helps us determine how much lighting we want at a particular time.

Well there's not a lot to review when it comes to light bulbs. Basically, they either work, or they don't, out of the package. The real test is how long they continue to glow and in this case it may take years to make that determination. I'm a real estate investor and last year I began changing all the bulbs in my apartments to LED technology. For some unknown reason my tenants are reluctant to replace burned-out bulbs. Some of the bulbs I used are EcoSmart and they continue to burn brightly. I especially like these because of the 5000K Daylight color temperature, they don't give off that yellowish glow like warm-white bulbs do. Also, these are truly dimmable unlike some of the other "dimmable" LED bulbs I've tried. Only time will tell how long these will really last so hang on to your receipt since the manufacturer warranties them for 5 years.

Good bulbs! EcoSmart leads the way with novel and high quality products. I just left review for Soft White bulbs - so it is really does not change much for Daylight option. two things I forgot to mention in previous review - dimming for both bulbs work well! Another nice feature on those bulbs - plastic protection of the base, which is good safety feature! Out of two types I got from EcoSmart for my specific needs Daylight serves better. So, I suggest you try before making decision. Happy DIYing!

I have been using incandescent full spectrum bulbs for many years. I find 5000K is the closest LED equivalent. I got the clear (4.5W) and frosted (5.5W) to test them side by side. They both are nice and bright, without being harsh. I like how the base fits into candle sleeve (see pic). They have a 5yr Warranty, which I doubt I will use, but since they are 'Distributed by Home Depot', should be easy to do if needed. They are 'Suitable for damp locations' and rated to 0F. So, should work in most Indoor and covered Outdoor fixtures. The only negative is the writing on side (see pic). I suppose it is needed. So, someone can tell what kind of bulb it is over the next 14 years; its Life Expectancy. It is less noticeable on the clear.

The Ecosmart LED B11 candelabra base 60 watt bulb can replace a incandescent bulb and lasts 15 times longer. It has the brightness of 500 lumens. It is a dimmable bulb. I tested the LED and the incandescent bulbs side by side from full brightness to the lowest position. The LED is on the left and was brighter in each case. The bulbs have a five year warranty.

The average from two installs of CLFs was 24 months.. So I have now installed these dimmable LED's and could not be more happy. Frequent bulb changes stop and the light quality is excellent with these "soft white" bulbs. You can use these in damp indoor locations like bathrooms and for most people they last 13 years, for me they should last much longer than those CFL's. And they cost less than .70 cents a year to power. I love them!

I received my EcoSmart LED bulbs today, they were well packed. These bulbs have a candelabra base. They give out a bright white light (5000K) and look nice in my chandelier and fan. I like the fact that they only use 4 watts of power but are equivalent to a 40-watt bulb. I am very pleased these LED bulbs. These are very reasonably priced Led bulbs, I will be buying more for my other fans.

These are frosted glass ... Home Depot (and Ecosmart) used to carry a clear glass that we bought and used in outdoor covered fixtures outside the garage doors. What happened to those that they are no longer offered?

These light bulbs have a nice tone between yellow and white.

Great white color but as other reviews mentioned, they flicker. They are on a dimmer. I swapped out the clear echosmart bulbs with these and they didn’t flicker so it might just be an issue with these frosted bulbs.

The bulbs flashed high and low at even the highest dimmer setting. The Ecosmart 2 BR30 90W equivalent I just put in my bathroom were fine. Same wattage total and same dimmer brand. I am going to try Cree.

It is hard to find LED light bulbs in this shape and wattage! I was thrilled to find these on your website.

Inconsistent dimming and brightness. A waste of money and not worth the trip to even return or exchange. Will never buy Home Depot generic product again.

Bulbs are quite bright more so than candescent bulbs but I really like the white color they emit; no yellow undertones.
