I bought this when remodeling our kitchen and couldn't be happier with my choice. Sleek design, great features such as the convection oven and the triple element.
Controls are laid out well, love the panel on the front of the range is so easy to see and use and the blue lights that remind you what surfaces are still hot.

great looking in the new kitchen
We purchased two of these ranges. They really look great in our newly remodeled kitchen. They are truly the WOW factor when installing side-by-side. We have had them for two weeks. The burners seem to be hotter than my other ceramic cooktop, something to get used to, just as with most new things. An oven probe was a MUST on my list of features and the warming drawer was a nice extra. I also like the looks of the blue interior and the action of the oven racks.

Excellent product
Our other oven broke in a dramatic way, it tried unsuccessfully to burn the house down 2 days before Thanksgiving! We wanted to replace it with a high quality stove and Electrolux delivered in a big way. It cooks evenly, has great features, and looks great in our kitchen.

Stylish and functional
We have been using our range now for a little over two months. It's interesting that this range has no lower heating element in the oven. Perhaps that's normal for convection ovens but it certainly takes longer to pre-heat than our previous conventional oven. This unit also vents air out the front of just below the controls and above the door. This can be annoyingly cold until the oven heats up. The oven performs well on both convection and conventional. You should note that even in conventional mode there appears to be circulating air. I believe this is due to the heating element configuration. The black top shows scratches so be careful and follow the recommendations on cookware.

Don't be a victim
The reviews lifted from the Electrolux website are an ‘Incentivized review’ translation, the individual doing the review received compensation from Electrolux. Also, that the individual providing the review does not necessarily ‘own’ the appliance. If fact, they can review the product in a controlled environment, i.e. Electrolux test grounds. I did not realize Electrolux ‘stacked’ the review process with ‘fake’ five star reviews. Had I seen that they used ‘Incentivized Reviews’ under their rating, I would never have purchased their appliances AND I encourage any consumer contemplating a purchase of ANY Electrolux appliance large or small, to search for another, better brand. Also, look for Electrolux to respond with a ‘So sorry to hear, contact us, etc.’ Don’t be their victim, they do not tell the truth, buy another brand

My Stove Replacement
I had the higher grade slide in range and it was great, but needed so many repairs after a few years had passed that our warranty gave us this new stove. On my other stove had total digital and I am technical, but hated all those digital features. This stove has manual controls and I love it. I do miss my dual oven though.

The oven glass shattering issue is a major design flaw. The repair guy who fixed my shattered glass told me that screws that secure the oven handle are too long! They actually butt up against the glass, so if you try to move your stove via the handle, the screws will push on the oven glass shattering it into thousands of little pieces! what a mess. I cant believe they haven't fixed this. Mine shattered 3 years ago. BEWARE, DO NOT PUSH THE STOVE VIA THE OVEN HANDLE!!

Delivery men were excellent. Electrolux stove is a different story. The main control touch panel is not secured to the surrounding frame and when pushed it flaps around and recedes about 1/8" into the body of the stove. Disaster waiting to happen electronically and from a clean-up perspective. Sloppy workmanship all around - caulk has oozed out from where the trim pieces on the top are glued to the cooktop. No one bothered to wipe it off before it dried and it's a mess. Advice: Above all, BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. (Insert voice of experience here). I know Clark Howard says don't, but I can assure you that almost NOTHING on this stove costs less than the $300 the 5-year warranty costs. One other hint, do NOT use the self-clean feature on this (or any other) new range. Over time, it will toast all the delicate electronics that are housed between the top of the oven box and the cooktop. Be sure to completely kick the tires and test out everything on your new appliance - every button, knob, and feature within 48 hours of delivery.
Lastly, as a review for Home Depot, you only have 48 hours to report damage or defects, and I recommend physically going into a store to report. I called at first, and the guy told me that me I needed to schedule a repair person to come out. Excuse me??? This is a brand new stove that I've used exactly once in 24 hours. I want a brand new stove that works and that's perfect, not something that immediately needs a repair due to a factory defect. He said he'd note it, and I thought I was done. Not so. I was in store the next day, and dropped by the appliance area to verify. My concerns were not noted in the system, and I would have been out of luck and been stuck with a lemon of an appliance. The people in store were great, and I have a replacement ordered which is going to take a MONTH to get. You can also call 1 (800) 455-3869, and after pushing many buttons to get to the right place, you can report. So far, not the best experience. Will be checking the new one before they even take it off the truck...

Door shattered, twice.. on two ovens... oven NEW
We purchased this oven, and upon installation, the glass door shattered. The oven was removed and a replacement was ordered. Got a call from the delivery company, they said they checked the oven before loading onto the truck, and they told us the glass door was shattered.
I did a bit of research, apparently, the door has a nasty habit of shattering!
Unless We hear about a solution ASAP, the order will be cancelled

I was really looking forward to having this oven in my home but am sad to report that I never got...
I was really looking forward to having this oven in my home but am sad to report that I never got the chance. During the first installation the oven door glass shattered on my kitchen floor. The installers said they have never seen that happen before with any oven. A couple of other reviewers had mentioned that their glass had also shattered so I contacted Electrolux and they told me this was not a known defect for this product. I rescheduled delivery for this morning. I received a call from the installers that they were going to be unable to deliver the oven to me as the oven was damaged - the oven door glass was shattered. I called Electrolux customer service today and the woman I spoke with said she will let management know. This is my way of letting any future customers know.

Before you buy: Google "Electolux self-clean = die". You will learn that for the last 10 years there has been a problem Electolux has failed to fix. When you use the self-clean cycle a thermal switch shuts the oven down until you have a $75 service call to reset it.
We called Electrolux and they pretended they didn't know what we were talking about. Those web-based 5 star reviews you see are probably bogus. Avoid their self-cleaning ovens for sure.

Know notathing, thank you for sharing your range experience. Our warranties start on the day of purchase. Models with the hidden bake feature (like your model) take a little longer to preheat. Times ranging from 10 to 17 minutes are normal to preheat to 350° F. To engage the oven lockout feature, press and hold oven lock button for 3 seconds. To unlock press and hold oven lock for 3 seconds (page 16 in your Owner’s Manual has information about this feature). Self Cleaning Nightmare
Our new oven was delivered 2 Jan 2017 and after using the oven to cook a roast we activated the self cleaning. After the self cleaning was finished we noticed the oven door glass looked like the oven was 15 years old. Evenly distributed vertical drizzle of brown grease coated the inside of the glass. The warranty repair man said it was best just to NOT USE THE SELF CLEANING FEATURE! We also don't like the "oven lock" feature that does not silence the beeps if the panel is touched, which is every time we use the microwave above the oven. We would not have purchased this oven if we would have known about these design defects and will not recommend anyone else to purchase it.
