Is this a true "undermount" sink or not??
Two handymen have already told me that this sink is not an undermount sink. One told me it fell through after installing it 2 years ago. The other man said it looks like an undermount after you install it over the top then place tile over the installed sink. How is it possible to claim this sink is truly an "undermount" sink?

I did notice the sink would get rings from things...
I did notice the sink would get rings from things setting in the sink. It is hard to get those stains off. I just use the grid in the bottom of sink and no more problems. I love my sink.

Elk at drop in stainless steel kitchen sink
This sink is beautiful and is easy to keep clean, nice and deep for large pots and pans too. Nothing gets down the drain that shouldn’t! I would definitely recommend this product and it was delivered so fast.

I am in love ! This is a wonderful sink, underside is coated so not loud. I can fit all my big canning pots in it. You could give a small dog a bath in it !

The sink itself is great. The TEMPLATE… a dealbreaker. I’m a pretty proficient handyman but this template is at least 1/4 too large for the sink hole around all sides. DO NOT USE THE TEMPLATE!! Also the drop in clip brackets to hold in place bend very easily and are almost useless. I bent my own and used a 1/4 inch spacer around the internal perimeter of the sink hole to save the job but hopefully this helps someone out there

it is not stainless
it is not stainless as it did stain. i see some marks from the iron skillet that I left inside. now I have a mark of rusted stain.

Stainless steel is an alloy that contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium. Chromium reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a protective layer on the product to resist corrosion and rust. Sometimes this can just be surface rust from high iron in the water. We also recommend not leaving items in the bottom of the sink, as they can also be a cause of rust. Silverware, for example, can start to rust on the surface of the sink and leave a stain that gives the appearance that the sink is rusting. I love our new sink. Fit perfectly where the ancient sink was. It’s sleek and super functional. Only reason we don’t give it 5 stars is because it had a dent on one of the edges which we didn’t see until after it was installed.
