I cannot understand how the controls work. As an example, how can I set a timer that will not turn the oven off when the time is up? I cannot understand how to use the preheat feature; it seems to be a separate function unrelated to setting the actual temperature. What is standby status? I would appreciate a more user-friendly instruction manual.

Fits nicely built into my cabinet. Works very well with electric only, heats up quickly.

Oven has great eye appeal and works well so far. Owner's Manual leaves a lot to be desired. It gives little information about the oven, how to use it, etc so you are pretty much own your own to try and figure how to operate it. Kind of a trial and error type thing. It comes with a rotisserie rod, but the manual doesn't show where or how to install or use it and unfortunately it really isn't that ovious either. I still haven't figured that part out yet, but I am using the oven. I just have to try this then that until I get it right. No number to call for help and no website either. Still with what I have figured out so far, it's a good product.

Directions for this oven were terrible!! Could have been written in Chinese and understood better. Takes forever to preheat or warm up to temperature. Would not recommend.

Did not realize oven was so small. My wife is terribly upset. Needed a larger oven. Is there anyway this oven could be traded in for late get oven?

It was very easy to install. Very light and could do it yourself really. The instructions on how to use the oven take some time to understand, not sure who wrote them or what language they tried to translate it from. I do have to take it back though and exchange it for a different model, it wouldn’t hold heat at all. I needed the oven to be at 375 degrees to cook the pizza I wanted, in four minutes after putting the pizza in the oven it was at 216 degrees. It also did this while trying to make cupcakes and brownies. This seems to be a common problem with this model. After calling customer service for Empava and telling the person what the problem was he didn’t even hesitate to say take it back. So I’ll be getting the cheaper one with knobs that has way better reviews instead. So in the end just pass this one up, go get something different.

My first complaint is this is nonreturnable I didn't see it in the overview when I purchase it. Secondly the install instructions are poor. Yes it seems simple enough but it doesn't come with a trim set which would of been helpful in our case. The Dimensions were the same but when we went to install, our cabinet had to be cut. Our cabinet didn't come with a bottom for the oven to rest on. It would have been helpful if it came with a kit that could be installed for the oven to rest on once inside the cabinet. No plug comes with the oven which I didn't read in the overview.

The stove was installed this week. It doesn't heat to the specified level. Instructions say to heat to 482 after installation and it never got hotter than 330 degrees and then it started to decline. Please contact us about repair or replacement.

Don’t waste your money! After paying the cost of this oven and paying an electrician to install it, this oven was a total disappointment on day one. The first thing I noticed was the rubber seal inside was only attached in the corners and was loose and flimsy. The oven shut it self off several times each time it reached just over 300°. Each time it shut it self off you would have to reset the clock. And then you would have to set the temperature 20 to 25° over the temperature you actually wanted to reach the desired temperature. And then as you were using it to cook it would lose heat due to the bad seal. It would drop 10 or 15°.On day two I disconnected it and returned it. The only positive thing I can say about this oven is that it looks nice. Do yourself a favor spend the extra money and buy a Quality oven.

We just baked a 12 lb turkey, baked beans and biscuits. What a great meal!

Used the oven twice so far. It works well and is a very good value for its price. Easy to operate. Installation was fairly easy although dimensions per specifications make for a close fit.

This product did the trick. I have an older home, so finding the correct oven size proved difficult. The Empava fit nicely with very minimal alterations to my cabinet. The instructions made the installation a breeze.

Put it in, took it out and purchased another one.

We had to pay to have an electrician run a 240V line, which cost more than the oven itself. Not a flaw of the product, but annoying. The oven in confusing to use, make sure you read the manual! Once you figure it out it works fine. Overall we’re happy with the purchase, there aren’t many options for 24” built ins out there.

Seems to be fine. There is zero overhang on the bottom, will have to add a piece of trim. I would suggest you wait on the oven before building the opening. When I made the rough opening to the exact dimensions there was a gap at the top of the oven and a larger one at the bottom. Had to shim up 1/4 so there was no gap at the top. Will have to add a piece of trim to the bottom next.

The shipping and delivery of this oven was perfect. I’m very pleased with my new Empava oven, especially the Convection feature that can be used both for baking or broiling. It gave a perfect bake to all my food!The prices are reasonable, too！

The oven will not hold an accurate temperature. It will only hold a semi stable degree on preheat mode. If you try to change it to bake or any other function you have to shut off the power and then touch the function you want. Unfortunately as soon as you do this the temperature fluctuates so much you either have 1/2 cooked food or you set off the fire alarms. Example: I set the oven at 350 degrees (bake) and the temperature climbed to 450 in 10 minutes. I’m very unhappy with this purchase and customer service will only contact me through email. The icing on the cake..... no returns!

Inadequate instruction manual. Does not maintain temperature. Clock does not keep time. Timer does not work. Only one oven rack. Have no use for baking tray; would have preferred a second rack. Total waste of money.

It seems to be a good oven so far. I only have a couple frustrating issues: one is, the clock loses time, so you can’t rely on it for an accurate time. Another is it comes with hardly any operating instructions. I have never owned a convection oven, so it would be nice to have basic instructions without having to go on line and search for ideas and hints. One other thing, is when the timer is done, it shuts the whole oven off. I am used to a timer being independent, that way if you have something that you are cooking covered for so long, then want to uncover it, all you need to do is reset the timer. Not with this one, you have to reset the whole cooking process.

Clock runs slow. Have to change it to the correct time every few days as it loses a few minutes every week. Functions well otherwise
