Very precise, will recommend to many contactors

Says "auto Calibration", is slightly misleading in my mind. Keep in mind, I pulled it out, used it, didnt bother to read the directions.....till later. Auto Calibration in my mind seems pretty straight forward...it calibrates automatically. Which technically it does, just not to level. You have to set the level so the bubble is perfectly centered BEFORE you power it on, then it "auto calibrates" to that level. If you are off, then the auto calibration is off too...by a lot, or a little...depending how particular you set it. I use laser levels on a daily basis...they Auto level. get em within a few degrees, and they level out from there. That in my mind is Auto Level, or Auto Calibration. That being said, once you figure that out, and get it set, it works great...exactly as one would expect. You let it power off.... you get to go through the whole process again....it doesn't seem to hold the last setting. Doesn't give you a "lock" option to hold the previous setting. But, its considerably less than what you would pay for other similar levels that may store the level setting. Get what you pay for.

Needed a way to grade a hillside slope to an average 30% slope. Was very challenging using a horizontal level and measuring the offset. I purchased this level and it worked great. I was able to confirm slopes instantly. Cost was a premium for a level, but it saved me hours of work.

It rival Stabila. Love the self calibrating feature. Highly recommend empire level, good price. If you do not need high precision accuracy, Husky Digital Level is good for the price.

I love the level. easy to use the color of the screen works good on all light. No guess work if the job is level.

The accuracy of this level is great. Not very difficult to use either.
